I left my curling iron in the room and they wouldnt check to see if it was turned in!!!!

When I booked my room, I requested a door on the ground floor near an exit, so that I could get out very early in the morning. I was there for a one day art show where set up started early in the morning before sunrise, and teardown was that same evening. So I needed to be able to get my things in and out to my vehicle quickly and easily. I was given a room at the end of the hallway, as far away from the lobby as possible, and the door that my room was next to had construction going on outside of it. So I couldn’t use that door… it was all blocked off with tape, construction equipment, and vehicles. So much for my request. The room needed some repairs, and I can tell the property has been used hard without adequate upkeep. I doubt I would book a room here again. The staff also thought it was ok to stand right outside the front door and smoke while people were entering and exiting. Cigarette smoke makes my throat sore and gives me a headache. Not impressed.

Checked in and was assigned to a room. Walked in and bed wasnt made, bedding was still in chair. Went back and was assigned to a new room. Went to bed and sheets had old blood on them and shower had hair in it. Friendly staff but room was gross.

We had a great time. The room was clean. Bathroom was clean and the other attendees were nice and quiet no loud noises at the time we were there. The only negative I could give to this place was there was no continental breakfast offered. However, they did provide a small convenience store with breakfast options to purchase. Hotel is pet friendly and smoke free win win.

This property offers everything you need. I have read complaints about no pots and pans and such in the kitchen, well people don't leave things as they found them so to me that's totally acceptable. I was traveling with those things knowing that, this place is clean, comfortable, and my back is severe scoliosis and these beds are very doable! Staff is helpful and pleasant, and location is close to everything you could need. From my last stay in 2018 to now they have not declined one bit still a five star stay. not extravagant, but like being home. I highly reccomend!

The staff made me clean the whole bathroom by myself when the toilet wasn’t working and overflowed all over the whole room. Wouldn’t move me or anything. Just let me stay an extra hour bc I had to take a shower in the bathroom where the toilet didn’t work. Only came in when I had the bathroom clean to try to repair the toilet. Very very unprofessional. Terrible service.

Since I'm from Aberdeen, SD, I felt obligated to try a My Place since that's where they are Headquartered and knowing someone that works there. Sadly, I can't recommend them to anyone. The walls are too thin. The internal noise coupled with practically being on the Interstate make the noise level unbearable. No thank you. I probably got 1 or 2 hours sleep. Saving $20 wasn't worth it over a competing property down the road that I stayed at 2 weeks earlier. Night and day difference. It's a new property with many in-room amenities that are nice but I'd trade them for peace and quiet. If it were "my place" I'd do just a little bit of soundproofing to block out some of the noise. I realize saving money is paramount so installing the smallest toilet with the least amount of porcelain is a plus but these are like children's toilets with a height evenly between my ankle and knee. Of course that's nothing compared to the noise problem.

Location is ok, near the interstate and shopping. Room was not the cleanest, floors need a good scrub and vacuum. A/C was not working properly is either freezing cold or nothing. Nice to have a working kitchen in the room, but there are no supplies such as plates or silverware or a pot or pan. Would I return? Maybe.

Room service is not going to be done until your 4th day staying at the hotel. Once trash is full YOU have to let the front know and they will pick it up outside your door. YOU also have to let them know when you need more towels or cleaner ones at the front desk. No transportation provided to airport. No one was working the front desk and always had to wait a few minutes for someone to finally hear your presence.

Had booked this place for a future stay as well but ended up canceling due to cleanliness. Beds were clean. However, the bathroom had hair around the sink and on the floor that was really gross, and the white shower curtain was stained yellow and had an odor when wet.

First off, saying breakfast available is a little deceiving. For $7.95/person, you can get frozen premade burritos or breakfast sandwiches delivered to your room. Second, when I stay at a hotel that has a kitchenette, I assume there are dishes to use. This hotel had ZERO in the room. When we asked at the front counter, the clerk went to the lost and found and brought out two garbage bags that had kitchenware in them- pans, utensils, etc. but they were dirty. Isn’t the point of booking a room with a kitchenette to use them? Who packs along cookware and dinnerware?
There was also questionable smears on the bed skirt and possibly some remnants of a picked nose on the wall.
They were polite and courteous at the front desk and gave us extra towels when we asked.

Getting to the location was inconvenient as with the reconstruction of the roads the one road leading to the hotel was closed and you had to go all the way down to the next intersection and weave between several buildings to get to it
