The location was perfect - especially if you're planning an Albatross or Dolphin Encounter. Nice to be right across from the beach too. Decently clean and comfortable, owners were very friendly.

Good clean spacious unit. Comfortable bed. Shower was great.
Coffee mugs had been put away dirty. No air con/heat pump but an electric heater was supplied.

Jo was very friendly and welcoming. Stayed 2 nights. Excellent location. 2nd night had a very noisy family next door, kids banging doors, banging on walls & yelling. Unfortunately I guess that's what you may strike during school holidays. C'est la vie!

Great location across from the waterfront. Friendly owners. Quiet at night. Nice amenities provided. However it is well worn and the refrigerator was dirty. But I would stay there again.

Friendly owners made everything easy. They were pleased we let them know we would check in late due to ferry sailing delay.

It was a wet cold night when we arrive during the cyclone. The room was warm and cozy and we had a good nights sleep. Would use them again if the need arose!

Great stay - very clean and quiet, spacious room, across the road from the beach and not far to walk into town. BBQ was useful for cooking dinners. Would definitely stay again if we're in Kaikoura.

Beachfront, close to a park for chn to play. No comfortable outdoor area to eat or be - no grass / garden, shade. Close enough to town.

An older motel, quite dated but clean. Shower ok but access to shower and toilet very cramped. Beds comfortable but no reading light over single bed. Kitchen clean and adequate.
