Stayed here for two nights in Feb – specifically due to the vicinity of Dive Tutukaka. Ian helped me at check-in and was extremely friendly and helpful! He provided a local map and details on the area, hikes, restaurants, etc. There is a small store connected to the reception desk to purchase snacks, beverages, etc. You can also rent a beach towel if needed. The place is very cozy and clean. I stayed in a studio, which has ocean views from the back patio on the main level and the bedroom upstairs. The units are self-accommodating. The unit does have wifi although it continuously cut in and out for me. The unit I stayed in had AC on the main level but not upstairs, which was exceptionally hot. Location-wise – it’s pretty secluded and VERY relaxing and quiet. In that aspect, I’d give it 10 stars. On the other end of the spectrum, it is not walkable if you want to be within walking distance of a shops/stores, etc. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe. There are 2 ocean hikes/beaches that are private to Pacific Rendezvous – Harbour Beach and Ocean Beach. Whale Bay and Matapouri Bay are a short drive away. There is an onsite pool, playground area, tennis court, game room, laundry room, etc. With the AC, I'd probably give it 4.5 stars but that's not an option so rounding up. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again. The views and ocean sounds are the absolute best if you are looking for some quiet and relaxation.

Incredible property with amazing views and two private beaches to walk to from the property. Pool and two hot tubs were great, tennis courts were fun to use with complimentary racquets and balls. Hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location! The grounds are immaculate and the views are stunning. Excellent view of Poor Knights Island. Situated between two beaches which are a short walk down to access. Quick drive to variety of restaurants and shops. Small pantry shop run by hotel if you’re in need of basic items or morning coffee. Check in was quick and easy.

This is a beautiful place in an outstanding setting. The views are unbeatable. We had been here before and will most definitely go again.

Apartments are a little old fashioned but very clean and tidy. We were in unit 13 looking towards Poor Knight Islands, the views were just stunning! Our apartment was huge for the 2 of us. The bathroom, kitchen and living were downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. This worked ok but some might prefer a closer toilet in the night! The apartment gets lots of sun, we were very lucky with the weather while there, this also meant sleeping at night was a little difficult. We used a fan which helped but perhaps air-con might be a useful addition in the future.

OMG this place was amazing, every unit has its own wonderful view, two private beaches. A lovely pool and two spa pools, one private. Amazing hosts couldnt do enough for you. Wonderful we shop if self catering. Totally recommend thus special place.

A truly memorable place to stay. I had been told about it years ago and finally made it. I wish I had done it years ago! The apartments/units are all well positioned to maximise the spectacular views. The walks down to the beaches are super and the grounds are immaculate. We will be back again

A beautiful spot with stunning views. Wish we could have stayed longer

Easy check-in and beautiful location, however I'm very disappointed with the unit we stayed in. It desperately needs to be updated. The place smelled old/dirty, the furniture was in poor condition, the bedding was not clean.... I even found what appeared to be blood on the wall and mirror in the bathroom. While they give you milk at check-in, there was only instant coffee provided and the kettle appeared to have some sort of mold situation going on. It's such a beautiful location so we just stayed out of our room as much as possible. So much potential in this property, but the unit we were given was awful.

This was terrific place to stay, just wish we had more time to enjoy it! He complex is private and well laid out. The seagulls are noisey but generally added to the cliff top feel of the place, the views are terrific from our two storey unit. One or two maintenance issues but nothing to affect our enjoyment of the place. Tutukaka restaurants also very good (recommend the Tuscan Seafood soup at Snapper Rock!)
