The rooms are good, clean, comfortable and practical with plenty of power points, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was good. The location was good and in the main strip. The only negative is that the rooms don’t have a view and are located behind the street front restaurant. The beach is only a few meters from the restaurant.

My brother and I had an awesome stay during Fen '18, Muhtar was super helpful and Kate gave us some helpful tips. Brilliant location, clean beach and some lovely snorkeling right off the beach. Highlight of our trip was the turtles. Will love to return some day. Our 4 night booking became 6 then 7 nights!!!

We had an amazing week here at Bale Sampan . The pool view room was so pretty with an outdoor shower. Very close to the beach with nice sun beds. The food in the cafe was lovely and very healthy and reasonably priced , and the staff were friendly and helpful Would recommend this hotel to anyone and we hope to return soon ! There was also a few cars that were very cute

Check in was easy, we had one of the two bungalows by the pool, which is closer to the cafe, the road and the beach. Spacious well appointed bungalow, big bed (King?) and a single too, well thought out small details, a place to hang clothes, a mini fridge/bar, air con worked great, high ceiling w/fan, cool semi outdoor bathroom/shower, nice soaps/shampoo, etc.They have a great binder in the room with lots of helpful information about the hotel, cafe, island and other businesses to support. All of the staff were always helpful, courteous, respectful and friendly. They seem to be making constant repairs/upgrades to the bungalows. Bike rentals too. Kate the Manager was available to answer some questions also. The beach area is great, we were able to snorkel right off the beach and see thousands of fish, a few turtles (walk up the beach for about 5 minutes and snorkel back with the current, turtles feed in the sea grass beds. Good beach chairs and cafe service to the beach also. I would highly recommend this bungalow hotel, your close enough to "downtown" Gili T on the east side but yet far enough away from the super busy action.

Stayed three nights. Nice and quite place near the beach. Ver friendly staff. Good breakfast. Room service is excellent. Our room needs a bit maintenance but that is a minor issue. I would recommend this place is you look for a quite place with busy surrounding.

Literally a 5-10 min walk from the main strip...a 30 second walk to the beach where you can have the opportunity to witness a beautiful sunrise. The hotel itself was great, good size rooms, partially open top, very spacious bathroom. The breakfast options were great with the cafe conveniently located at the front and the staff were really friendly and accommodating.

The hotel and location are great. Its far enough north of the restaurant zone to be a bit quieter, but still near the action.

Nice small hotel. They can improve on bed/ mattress and breakfast quality.

Second stay here and the place is still lovely. Great breakfast and clean pool with view to beach. Comfortable beach lounge chairs and, best of all, the snorkelling area is now roped off to keep boats out of swimming spots and the coral is being rehabilitated. More fish than in the past and even saw a sea turtle. Would recommend as a place a bit farther from the crowded port and party area. Wifi was spotty in our room but OK in public areas.

Great location on the beach. Breakfast was excellent, although sometimes the lady serving was a bit short. Rooms were nicely kept and clean. We had a great time here and would come back for another stay.
