The first room the sink backed up with black scum.
2nd room the bed linens were clean but it had a odor, carpets out side the rooms were filthy and when we went to the dining room the glass door was covered in dirty hand smires. Upon entering there was raw chicken sitting on a tray as we were handed the menus they were dirty and i had to leave due as I felt that the food maybe unsafe due to the unclean nature of the whole building.

A fantastic location with a view of the harbor from our balcony. We saw 4 bald eagles, a seal, a blue heron, and the rise and fall of the tide. We often ate at the co-located restaurant, which was reasonably priced and very good. It was convenient to bring the food back to our room and enjoy our own wine, but the restaurant also has a bar. Although it is a small town, a car is needed to get around, and to visit other "nearby" towns and ports. Whale watching is available in Telegraph Cove, about an hour south, but we got rained out (insufficient customers) and enjoyed the neighboring museum there.

The rooms are spacious and have lovely views over the marina and water over to mountains in the distance if they weren’t swathed in clouds. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and functional. Restaurant staff went out of their way to make a vegan meal for my daughter.

I loved the balcony overlooking the water .
The room is comfortable with the bed facing the view. There is a restaurant on site with a lovely view as well .
The only thing is no breakfast is included .

This property is ok but dated, they have started remodeling but it is a work in progress.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Glen Lyon and was impressed by how clean the room was - bathroom, carpets, furniture, bed all spotless including the sliding glass doors and balcony area, which looked like it was completely scrubbed and clean enough to wear just socks.
The exterior of the property could use a power washing (don't let this discourage you from staying) but the desk staff did note that task was in progress in addition to some renovations to help refresh the lobby area and exterior signage.
A really good stay in a comfortable, clean room.

Beds were hard but not bad. Property was clean and quiet. Lobby is under construction and no elevator when we went. We had third floor. But we were okay with stairs. No air conditioning and rooms can get hot at night but other than this it was great stay.

The building is slightly older but the room was modern and comfortable and clean.
The best was the young lady at reception who gave us references on restaurants and things to see in the area.

Not much to do. Small town so not many food options . Excellent to escape and be one with the ocean. The hotel was amazing clean and nice big tub, right on the water so we could sit out on the deck and watch the sea otters !

Rather expensive for an adequate room... a captive crowd waiting for the ferry.

The waterside location with a beautiful view of the harbour is lovely. The check in desk clerk was warm, welcoming and very helpful! Our room was spacious and comfortable.

We arrived quite late due to ferry issues but the friendly staff checked us in with a smile. The room was clean and well appointed, and the view in th morning was fantastic. The restaurant server made sure that my wife’s gluten and dairy issues were not a problem. Crab cake eggs Benny, yummy. The checkout was even friendlier with a map and local highlights recommended.

Perfect location for catching the ferry to Prince Rupert.Lovey Inn on the water front and small harbour. We would recommend it and use it again.
