No phone in room . Had to use our own phine to call about the air conditioner that didnt work unlessnit was squealing like an old fan belt. No cold water to go with the hot in the shower. The people who check us in very rude and when we checked out very rude again. One thing that was good was the food small portions but good.

Before I booked I read the reviews and I was waiting that the owner read them too and started take care. Is very updated, the varanda has a bad smell from the carpet that shouldn’t be there. The floor is ugly, the chairs so uncomfortable. The towels are old.

The property was neat and the pool was great. The room also neat but very run down. There was a large tear in the couch in the room; large crackers in the dry wall; the bathroom mirror had multiple large spots of rust all over the mirror; the towel rack was partially hanging off the wall; the shower head had 3 of 12 holes working; the towels were falling apart at the edges and had strings hanging off; but the worst was going to breakfast and the sewage smell was awful (we never went back for the included breakfast.)

Needs renovation

We loved this place because it was located at the far end of one of the main beaches in Phi Phi, away from all the loud music and tourist crowds. The view was magnificent and the room was extremely spacious. It was, however, not well kept. The bathroom was not very clean and the place is showing signs of aging like rust on the ceiling and even crumbling pieces of wall inside our room. We mentioned these things to the staff and they took care of some of them. It was a great place to stay in general, but if you're easily put off by these things it may be good to look elsewhere.

Hotel is in need of a serious refurb. Everything is dated or has broken down pictures are very old probably when hotel was newly made

This hotel does not live up to the Thai hospitality we experienced throughout the country. It is disgusting - our bathroom was not clean when we arrived, we found hair in the drains, and the counters were filled with dust and dirt. When we notified the front desk, they said there was nothing they can do because they don’t offer any refunds or partial refunds. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.

Old and degradated hotel. Spacious room, but with old equipments. Good views from the room. The area in front of the hotel, is the place where the turistic boats arriving during all day, with tousends of people. High noise and a lot of dirty. Many of this people, have meals in the hotel, mainly at lunch (hundreds), getting the ambience worst. The employee and manager are closed and unfriendly. The guest is really only a number. I reserved 3 nights, but go away at second day. They didn´t ask nothing. Guests are only a number to them.

Our expectations were a higher from the photos on the web. We were expecting The “cliff” hotel te be on the cliff but instead it was down the cliff, meaning that it was all day at the shadow (all day long) so the super nice swimming pool we had in our room and the infinity pool at the third floor were quite pointless. We have been there in December, maybe in another period of the year this wouldn’t be a problem. The room itself was ok but nothing special. It was a bit dirty with spiderwebs and it needs an update cause it was a bit destroyed. The location was great cause it was in a beach that was calm but walking distance you had all bars, shops, etc. When we arrived there was a guy waiting for us and he brought our luggage till the hotel and when we left they kept our luggage till we were back. Overall i don’t think I would repeat in this hotel.

It's nice and quiet but not the best spot if you want to be near the action (bars & restaurants) - that's a 15 minute walk away. Nice beach area and pool. The rooms could use a deep clean and the property looks a bit dated but not bad. Breakfast was okay but only instant coffee available.

A very dated hotel. Best thing was its location (on the beach in a quiet part of the island) but the hotel badly needs refurbishment. Painting, taps in bathroom, entry area all need to have work done on them. Staff were ok but not particularly outgoing and friendly.

Beautiful location, and very attentive service. The "Monkey Police" kept the wildlife at a safe distance.

This is probably the most unhygienic place I have ever been to! Our bedsheets had blood stains on them, the pillows had yellow spots all over and the same with the towels and ropes. Furthermore, the bathroom was absolutely DISGUSTING. Hair everywhere, which was NOT ours, mold, rust and dirt on and in the shower and stains all over the mirror. There was a terribly disgusting smell in the bathroom too, but I’m not surprised considering the mold. The AC did not work, so we asked the reception for help. They send up a guy who was awfully rude. He got the AC to work, threw the remote and slammed the door. All without saying a single word, even after we tried to communicate and thank him for the help. Even after room service, the room was just as dirty. All they did was make the bed (with the same dirty linen) and fold the same dirty towels. They even got out of their way to close the bathroom door (without cleaning it), probably because of the smell.

We spent one night here and we absolutely loved it. We booked a pool view room and it was the best choice! Close to everything.

Not even 1* !!! The property is outdated, not cleaned and full with monkeys. You can not use your terrace neither open your door because they will come into your room.

The stay at the cliff in phi phi was ok. If you have neighbors you will definitely be hearing their conversations, singing, partying and other activities because the walls are super thin. Breakfast could improve. The good thing about this hotel is the view, the pool, and the services provided.

Great view.Negatives: tiles missing from pool, no grout in tiles in pool, pool needs cleaning, house keeping was terrible 7 day stay didn't wipe down sink, shower or toilet, didn't change bed sheets, bathroom mirror & facets dirty. Beds hard as a rock. Rated 3 star.... Maybe 10 years ago more like a two star now. Water leaks in dining area. Ceiling water stained and missing in areas of hall to rooms. Description on here says brand new... Ya 15 years ago. Pics are from when hotel was new not now

The hotel was in an excellent quiet location, just a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. The pool was incredible and the fact that we were on the 4th floor gave incredible privacy and views of the bay.

Beautiful property and resort. It is located at the very end of the strip of resorts which is a decent walk to the rest of the island but that also provides its own benefits.

Check in was very easy. Someone met us at the pier and helped carry our luggage to the hotel. Everything was fine until we walked into our room. There was some cleaning powder left beside the toilet. Water was draining out of the toilet. Shower room wasn’t very clean. And the pool needs some updates. We only took the stairs because the elevator was not reliable.
