People yelling outside the window, next morning same guy passed out in lobby. A/C was covered by curtains so they had to be open to use it. Room and staff was good though.

Absolutely one of the most disgusting hotels I have ever booked in too As soon as I walked into this dingy old build I already had the feeling it was a rat trap with doors I get up too my room we’re I promptly checked the bed when I noticed blood spatters all over the side of the sheets I immediately when too the front desk and demanded my money back ., after driving 6 hr too an event that I work with ., I traveled down the street too the bests western ., which hooked me up on the spot after explaining the situation and they upgrade my too a jacuzzi suite and had the best stay at a hotel I’ve had in years

The hotel upon arrival looks rather sketchy and there is a bit of a smell in the lobby. The room itself, though rather outdated, had a nice renovated bathroom, 1 of the 2 double beds are very comfortable and the room contained a kitchen area with a decent size fridge, microwave, hotplate, sink, cupboard and a random assortment of dishes (bring your own if you plan on doing food prep as the dishes are an incomplete mix match). I was happy enough staying there; my husband was turned off by the sketchy appearance and general outdated look of the room (other than the updated renovated bathroom). If appearance isnt a big deal for you and you dont need anything other than a place to sleep and maybe do some food prep, it will probably meet your needs at a reasonable cost. We were only there one night and it was quiet. Parking is available on the street in front of the hotel.

Rooms were big and comfy, with bigger than usual fridge.

We stay for 1 night at Bonnieciew motel, the building itself was old , but location is excellent, just right at town center, 1 block away from Sobey and ESSO. The room is small, but very clean and quiet. We have a full kitchen, and a small bathroom. Both are very clean and tidy as well. Wifi is good and fast, TV works, but only have Canadian channels. Quite a few of electric plug in to the wall, but only 2 are working. If you have lots of gadgets to plug in, you may have to switch them to get charged. Otherwise, with this magnificent price, I shall not complain.

After the reviews I saw online, I had prepared myself and colleague, what we might walk into when we arrive. Right off the booking, all requests where accommodated. Not only did I recieve a text message on my personal phone, as to why I haven’t arrived yet, it was made sure that I did not require any additional assistance. The fast check in and personal accompany to the rooms, gave it a welcoming feel. The building itself is old and a bit run down. But after I saw the room and realized what I paid for 2 rooms, that did not matter anymore. The room was clean and spotless. As well the bed was comfortable. Also, The Non-Smoking 1 Bedroom with Kitchenette and Queen Bed was quite roomy. It would be referred as, “a Suite” at other Hotels. I have stayed at other neighbouring properties in the past, but I will definitely will be staying at this property in the near future. Yes, it can be a bit updated, but nevertheless while visiting town, Bonnyville Hotel will remain the first choice prior to selecting other Hotels and or Motels in town. I would definitely encourage fellow travelers to ignore what you may read/see online and visit Bonnyville Hotel, to see for yourself. Instead of believing it right off the back and deteriorating you, from this home away from home. I will definitely share my positive experience with my family and friends.

The service was really bad. TV didn’t work in room so my mom had to call to call TELUS herself from her cell phone because management said it wasn’t their job and the phones in the room didn’t work. Also the ac unit is not properly installed so bugs were really bad in the room

We had a dog and essentially that reduced the service quite a bit, I was not told in advance so cleaning up the room became our chore. The hotel besides that was good. The rooms are nice. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good with a respectable amount of choices. Besides being cool on the dog, I would recommend it easily.

Well its ridiculously cheap for a reason. The rooms were hardly clean. There was what looked like drug residue all over the table in my room. The tub was flight so Im glad I brought sandals with me. The room was excessively hot when I got there and even turned down it barely made a difference. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone.

Stinks of cigarette smoke. Sewage smell on the second floor, was on the third. Trucks are loud on the main strip. Other guests were quiet. No elevator. Kitchennette had greasy fingerprints, didn't trust the cleanliness. Toilet didn't flush unless handle was held down for full cycle. Friendly check-in. Use if don't have any other options.

My colleague and I were here on work, the building itself is a little run down, however it is apparent they have done upgrades to the bathrooms in all of the units to my knowledge. An amazing price, and a good location to stay central in Bonnyville. If you're looking for a four or five star hotel, you're no going to find it here, however the building has character and the location and price are worth it.
