Excellent service. Ines and her team are very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable, nice bath gel, hotel is within walking distance to CCB, Belem tower, restaurants as well as supermarket and pharmacy. Highly recommended!

Not the same service as i expect at any 5 star hotells.
Breakfast was good and they have a cheff that will cook the eggs how you want and preffere them, except for that i would say it is a 3-4 star brekfast but still very good.
Pool area is amall and nice, not overcrowded at all when I was there a Monday afternoon, but got no service there so had to walk up to the bar inside all the time and bring my drinks
Main reason i came to this hotell for one night was to get some propper sleep and it was advertised as sound proof rooms but i herd the train and traffic every time it passed by and herd the maids talking and doing their things in the hallway in the morning.
Strong smell like wet hair from the shower drain which got better after I put some water in it and there was no toilet articles so i had to call the reseption so they brought it up to my room at night since i did not bring own because i am used to that a 5 starts have more then everything i need. My room and ac controller on the wall was very dirty and sticky when i pushed it wich i think is disgusting and should not be hard keeping clean
Else the bed was very good and i still managed to have a ok night of good sleep with few interruptions
Minibar had bad selection
And only one small bottle of complimentary water for a delux room ment for two people
And loation,gel,conditioner and shampoo bottles were well under half emty so i had the feeling i was using someone elses bathroom.

Front staff were very accommodating and helpful. We had an upgrade with our reserved suite. The housekeeping were so nice and respectful. They even offered us water before we left for the airport. Breakfast was pretty good. Very substantial and fresh. The location is also good for us. The hotel is in front of a tram stop and near a bus stop as well. There are restaurants and cafe close by and a grocery store across the street.

Great hotel. Amazing shower in rooms. Relaxing indoor pool and spa as well as outdoor pool facilities. Staff extremely attentive and helpful including the manger Antonio. Relaxing breakfast on the patio. Had a great time at the bar including bar food. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel is beautiful, it’s set in an old renovated building, the rooms are very big and the beds are really comfortable. The breakfast choice is amazing and includes cooked to order omelettes and Bloody Marys. The pool area is lovely, as are the spa facilities. The hotel is a 15 minute taxi drive away from the centre and is located in the beautiful area at the Torre de Belem.

Absolutely gorgeous and comfortable stay. Beautiful views of Belem Tower. The breakfast and the staff made this an even better stay. If you want to visit Lisbon, but not be in all the hustle and bustle of downtown (but still near great dining options) then this is the place to stay.

From the moment I arrived to the moment I departed the performance of the hotel and hotel staff was extraordinary. My check-in was fast. A staff member accompanied to my room and explained the room and the hotel amenities. The room was aesthetically and logistically pleasing, clean, and of sufficient size. The bathroom was large, with an extra large shower with excellent water pressure. The housekeeping staff was efficient. Breakfast was 5-star, with plenty of choices, all of high-quality. The concierge exceeded expectations in providing touring and transportation advice. And when I departed the concierge staff provided water and cookies- a very nice touch! Palacio do Governor will be my go to choice if/when I return to Lisbon. I highly recommend the hotel.

The toilet was not flushing because there was not water coming in. After mentioning it, it took 2 days we could not use the toilet. Had to fill baskets with water under the shower. The curtain was broke, it took 3 days to fix it while the sun was coming in at 5:30 am. There was hardly anybody in the bar and restaurant for service. The elevator light was not working, and then it did not work at all, costed 4 days to fix it. Bar was closed due to construction, not mentioned anywhere in front. Construction and painting was going on in the complete hotel. I really don’t understand the 5 stars, must have been from 25 years ago.
The pictures they show are looking very nice but it is a very overrated hotel with really bad service.
For work I come around 8 times per year in Lisbon, but this was by far the worst hotel. If they renovate it completely it can be nice but not in the shape it is now.

Staff were also incredibly helpful throughout our visit. An initial problem with the air conditioning was resolved by moving us to another room. They were extremely helpful in assisting to locate and have delivered to us a bag lost on a flight. The facility itself is beautiful and unique. A quiet oasis in a very busy city.

NAU Palacio do Governador was a great option for my first trip to Lisbon with my daughter! The hotel is beautiful, historic, clean, the room is spacious, the bed super comfortable and the area is super safe with beautiful walkable historical places to go sightseeing like the Belém Tower, the Discoveries monument and the Jerónimos Monastery. There are places to eat nearby with nice views of the water right next to monuments. The hotel is just a 10min bus drive to the center of Lisbon where all the action, shopping and other historical attractions are and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. So my daughter and I had the best of both worlds.
Finally, I would give the Front Office Manager Luisa as well as the receptionists Lione, Diogo and Ines a 5 Stars for making our stay so memorable! From the first hello to all the help making reservations for our dinner at the restaurant Descobre nearby (totally recommend!), to helping us with directions when choosing the best and closest beach to go, to preparing a snack bag for our trip with water and treats and all while having the most friendly, patient and positive attitude. Great service! We highly recommend NAU and will definitely stay there again next time we visit to Lisbon!
