Wonderful last-minute find for a quick weekend stay in the area. This place is a perfect combination of the quiet privacy of a good B&B combined with conveniences of a more corporate hotel (easy self access, great amenities, honor bar, turnover services etc). Will definitely be staying again soon

A beautifully restored Queen Anne with all the details you would expect to find in a traditionally appointed B&B. Jeff and Bonnie take pride in their finished product and their love of being innkeepers shows throughout. Jeff takes pride in his, from scratch, breakfasts and afternoon cookies. We, as their guests, get to enjoy the fruits of his cooking and baking passion. The rooms are clean with very comfy beds (that have a fresh, clean, smell to them!), a tea station, full baths. I’d return whenever I’m back in their area.

I really appreciated the in-room tea service plus French presses for use at our leisure. The room was bright for a Victorian property but really pleasant and well furnished. We had wine and cheese on one evening and good conversation with our fellow lodgers. I highly recommend! Will return.

Our stay at Berkeley House B&B in Staunton, VA was a wonderful and experience. The hosts, Jeff and Bonnie are engaging and welcoming. The B&B house itself is wonderfully appointed and the rooms (we were able to peek into all of them) are delightful and tastefully furnished. The furnishings provide a sense of being taken back to a much more traditionally Victorian Virginia. The breakfast part of the experience is also another highlight.

Berkeley House is a lovely Victorian house in an excellent Staunton location; the owners are quite pleasant; the breakfasts are awesome.

I took a couple of days for some shopping annd Shakespere.I originally thought i would book at the Stonewall Jackson hotel next to the theatre but i am so glad i decided to take a chance on a B and B. Berekley Place hs the charm of the past with the comforts of the present. Jeff and Bonnie were warm and gracious hosts,and breakfast was a treat. Day one included fresh fruit and berries and a ham and egg souffle. The location enabled me to go out for a few hours,then be back in 10 to 15 minutes, rest awhile ,then head out sgain. I hope to visit again

The house was charming, breakfast was excellent both days, and the hosts were gracious. Location was also very good, within walking distance of downtown Staunton.

First of all, the Staunton, VA area is a beautiful area to spend some days to catch up with your soul and just relax and enjoy life. Second, Berkeley House is truly unique. Jeff and Bonnie have gone to incredible lengths to get this up to a standard that is just amazing. This is as far from the cookie cutter standard hotel chain as it can possibly be. But it is loved for and nurtured in a way that makes you feel so welcome and at ease. Third, Jeff and Bonnie are the perfect hosts. Friendly, easy going, helpful in any way. Last, the concept of B&B works here. At every breakfast, we engaged with the other guests and had great conversations. It was a great way to start the day, to sit and enjoy Jeff's and Bonnie's sumptous breakfast, while at the same time talking to strangers and just have a slow and very good start to the day. If you have a few days to spare, go there. You will not regret it!

A B&B experience that would be hard to beat at any price. Beautiful rooms, great hosts, great food, perfect location.

Everything was clean and neat. Breakfast is included (obviously) and was quite delicious. The house is only a block from the Woodrow Wilson museum, and a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants as well as the Blackfriars Playhouse (home to an excellent regional Shakespeare company). Overall it was a wonderful experience and we'd love to stay there again!

Was forced to move to another room a week period due to them double-booking. Then I was up-charged upon arrival! To make it worse, I was up-charged 40 per night. When I looked on their website, the difference in the two rooms was only 20 per night. So I felt a bit ripped-off, twice. The house, and room and services were very good however. But if you get shuffled around, you may want to book elsewhere.
