The tv was not working, we advised the front desk and they never came to fix it. Secondly, there was cockroaches in the room/bathroom. My husband went downstairs to get a product to kill them, and they didn’t have any. The concierge is as left alone and obviously he wasn’t able to change rooms. We almost didn’t sleep all night and couldn’t wait to leave the next morning, we had to leave the lights on “just in case”.

I will definitely come back to this hotel in my next trip to Las Terrenas.
My only suggestion is to upgrade the main entrance's door, as it can be an inconvenient to keep calling with our cellphones every single time we need to enter or exit the facility.
Just like the elevator, we should be able to use our room's key to come in.or step out.

Very convenient for a short stay, big rooms, located on 10-15min from Bonita Beach, Portillo, Central Town.
The rooms are very confortable but the hole property have things to improve.

Very unsafe, the glass doors in the rooms that have access to the pool doesn't lock. There is a casino and a bar at the hotel but is not only for peolpe that are staying in the hotel, everyone from the neighborhood have access to be there too. Its very unsafe. People were so drunk and very rude, I had to get out of there the same day I checked in, I was afraid for my own safety. I do not recommend this place at all.

This is a wonderful hotel, this is my second time staying here and will continue staying here in the future. The staff is awesome, the room, the pool and the common areas were super clean. My husband went two times to the casino on site and won!! The hotel is close to the beaches and to the town, we went every day to the beach but What we enjoyed the most was having dinner watching the sunset in one of the restaurants in front of Punta poppy beach!!

Overall the hotel is nice , but beware of the price fix on exchange rates when paying in pesos. They tried to manipulate the rate to thier favor to make more money off the room rate.

This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a "hotel." - Customer service is rough at best. The room smells like a rat infested place. No shower curtain in the "shower" - Water has a strong smell. I booked for 2 nights, I had to check out after the first night, of course losing my money for 1 night. The place is away from the beach. They charged me for 2 small battles of water that was in the room. Save yourself some trouble, don't go this place.

I never got to stay there because Expedia never sent them my itenery and they didn’t let me check-in. I started an inquiry and you were supposed to respond in 36 hours and I am still waiting. Please make this right. I have been a customer of yours for a long time and I don’t want this to be my memory of Expedia which could effect my choice of using Expedia in the future. Ty tommy
