Nice hotel for the price. Great location in Cloverdale.

Manager would not budge on late check out past 12noon. Had to pay for additional night to say until 1pm. Inconsiderate to the fact that I showed up at 1:50 a.m. on my first night stay...thought perhaps the 1 extra hour would be honored for late check out. NOPE...thanks Oscar for LEAVING my keys on the door for me to checkin when you claimed the front desk is open until 2:30 a.m. Felt a lil scared grabbing the keys and wondering if somebody would be hiding in my bathroom upon entering! Next time, I'll stay elsewhere.

TBH, I might stay here again if I was in the area, however, this hotel did not meet my expectations.
PROS: check-in was fast and easy. The room was a nice size. The bed was fine, although my husband thought it was too hard. The walls are thin, but not a deal-breaker.
CONS: I called ahead, and was ASSURED that the hot tub and steam room were in working order. Neither was true. The hot tub was hot, but the jets did not work. The steam never started in the steam room. The only breakfast offered is oatmeal and muffins, which is OK, but there was NO coffee in the lobby in the morning. My husband was told the desk clerk "just got here." It was 7am!!! We tried to get some to go before we left, and still no coffee. There was a small coffee maker in the room but that only amounted to two small cups.
There were a lot of road workers staying there...not a problem but they are definitely over-charging for rooms. This was on a Tuesday in September and the price was about $145, Too high, IMO, for what is offered.
There is a mini-mart within walking distance, but other restaurants you would have to drive.

Nice Motel ,comfortable. We were in room 231 but wifi was rubbish! They moved us and it was great - decent swimming pool

Door would only open if you pulled the handle UP! I could not do it! My husband had to always open the door… I couldn’t get out or in!

The most afforable and best in town, just a block to the beginning of the sweet downtown area, with convenient restaurants, pubs, and coffee. Convenient to the freeway, but you can't see it or hear it at the hotel.

Lately I have been coming to Cloverdale a lot, and I always enjoy staying here. It's more inexpensive than any of the other hotels around here, yet it is a very good quality hotel. It is only a block to the lovely downtown area with pubs, restaurants and the wonderful Plank coffee roastary. It is also close to the destination I come here for. The manager is very accomodating, and my room gets tidied daily. I recommend it.

We were surprised to find such a lovely place to stay in this small town. We only booked an hour ahead as we traveled. What a beautiful location. The rooms were roomy and comfortable. The property was very well maintained. A great stop.

Front desk staff pleasant helpful and accommodating. After such a long drive for us , he was willing to put us on the lower of 2 floors.
Found the location quiet, easy to find and close enough to dining options in the “downtown” core.
Only coffee available in the am from 7am to start one on their journey. But nice perk.

This is a very good motel for a low price. Rooms were nice, and all the necessities were there. Very convenient to restaurants. The staff surprised me by making the bed and cleaning the room each day (rare nowadays). But the office staff barely exists. They called to warn me before check-in that there would be no staff after 9pm, and although there was coffee available the morning I checked out, there was no-one there. Still, I recommend it!

2 major issues;
1. Do not disturb sign was disregarded. When we returned from an outing the room had been cleaned. My bags were left open and personal items exposed. When I opened the door to enter my room I was greeted by a cat who was left in the room when it was cleaned. Big, No No!
2. When I shared my experience with the front desk clerk. She dismissed my feelings and sted that nothing could be done due to a big wedding event and no upgrade option. She seemed inconvenienced when I asked for help in taking cat out of the room and clean bedding.
This was a poor experience and I have never experienced anything like this before.
Very unhappy and disappointed! If I hadn’t been so busy with my planned event I would have left on the spot. A refund is well deserved, but not demanding it. I will mot be booking another room there ever again and plan to leave a poor yelp review tonight or this week.

The property was very quiet, perfect for family trip, i love that they have SAUNA room ! front desk (Oscar his customer service was excellent over all we were comfortable. the hot tub does need some TLC. definitely we will come back.
