From the beautiful balcony view of the ocean, to the comfy bed and living space, this property was an incredible value! The breakfast buffet included a custom made omelette station with Thomas, who was a master at his craft! It was easy to reserve chairs and umbrellas through a vendor on the beach, and charge them to our room. Service was great and it was nice to just stroll out the back of the hotel and be on the beach! Our room also had an alcove with bunk beds that would be great for a family. Highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly and the hotel is really nice. The beach is beautiful and is so convenient right outside the hotel. The hotel is clean and they provide towels for the beach and pool area. The only complaint is the breakfast buffet is pricey and the food that was supposed to be warm was cold.

The stay was awesome very clean the staff was wonderful and very friendly just the beds were too hard for my liking but that's my opinion. We had breakfast downstairs and Thomas was very excited at what he does and Bailey and the other man didn't catch his name or the elderly woman but they were awesome also

Staff was extremely helpful and nice! Building was very clean! Beds were comfortable and clean. Only complaints were that the pool bar was not open except Saturday and pour balcony/ocean view was more of a view of the strip although you could look around and see the water. Will stay there again

Average imo. Remodeled hotel directly on the gulf. Nice enough, but nothing extraordinary. Had issues with check in which was disappointing. Location was good.

Great hotel! We really enjoyed the amenities and the location. The staff were very hospitable and the building was very well kept. They were able to accommodate our changing schedule and the view from our balcony was amazing.

Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing, as it was 2 years ago. The only thing that was changed was their breakfast, it went from a free continental to a charge of $14.50 each which adds a lot for a family.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The convenience to local establishments was great. The 2 negative things I could say is 1-the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The staff tried to help make it better, but the there is only so much the staff could do with what they had. They need to invest in new/better mattresses 2- breakfast/coffee was not included in the stay. The person that recommended the hotel told us it was included… the hotel changed their policy.

What you see in the photos is what you get, a very nice and clean property with beach access right off of the hotels outdoor pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My family and I would definitely book at the Best Western Premier The Tides again.

Nice hotel but tried getting in early but had to wait until 4, said we had a partial view but construction was going on and all we seen was a crane. Hot tub was not working, a little dissappointing

Outstanding staff, everything was clean well maintained.

The parking was NOT GOOD. there didn't seem to be enough parking spaces for the hotel guests, I had to dive around the deck several times and eventually saw a guest leaving & had to sit & wait for them to pack up and clear a space. Also at the top level of the deck there was no area to turn around and go back down the deck & I ended having to BACK UP to go down the deck when there were no spaces. The 2 elevators were EXTREMLY SLOW and always crowded & we had to wait or take the stairs.

For a Best Western this is very upscale! Beds were comfy, room was clean and it was quiet.

I like how the hotel is right next to the beach where its walking distance. The breakfast buffet was good and enjoyable to eat while watching the waves. All the staff was friendly and very helpful with information we need to enjoy our vacation trip.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel last week and we loved it. We liked that it's right on the beach and there's a bar next to the pool. Rooms were nice and the breakfast was amazing

We have stayed at the Best Western in Orange Beach several times. This is the first time we reserved a normal double queen room instead of the room with the bunk beds for kids. The front desk attendant took forever to check us in. It was already late when we got there so it was just us. Any way, we checked in and there were no carts available. I was told to just check floor to floor until I found one. After searching every floor, I finally found one in the hall. Got to the room and was putting the kids to bed when I GIANT ROACH FLEW ACROSS THE ROOM! Of course, the kids freaked out. So, I killed the roach and brought it to the front desk. I asked for a different room and was told two things. 1. It wasn't a roach it was a "Palmetto Bug " and 2. They were probably in every room! Sounds like a roach infestation to me. Never had any issues before, but I highly doubt we'll be back.

We had an amazing stay. We loved being able to walk to the beach. The pool was great and kid friendly. We would stay again.
