Lovely little no frills motel. The room was clean, the staff, while minimal, was pleasant and helpful. Incredible view of the mountain. Quiet area, a bit of a drive to lake placid and restaurants (25ish mins or so). Very dated though. Most outlets didnt have grounding (two prongs), peeling paint and wallpaper, old and lumpy matress. It is an economical choice, though, and id stay again.

The owners are great and very helpful. The view out your front window is amazing. There is no pool but the grounds are very nice and they have fires at night and you can watch tv outside by the fire. We'll go back for sure

We’re still here but the staff has been great! We came in late at night because of the storm and they stayed up waiting for us. Very thoughtful and a much welcomed oasis in the storm. The room was warm and clean when we arrived, couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!

Roger and his son, Roger, were great hosts and a wealth of knowledge regarding the area. I'm looking forward to making this a repeat trip!

The staff was lovely, the site right in front of whiteface mountain! Lovely grounds to picnic, daily bonfires, game room for teens and kids.. Rundown room ( stained uneven ceiling tiles, paint spots on walls) pulled out the sheets and found dirt on the mattress cover…

It was freezing cold when we entered the room as the heater was not on. It took more than an hour to just get to 60F with a heater. Very small TV and no remote control can be found. The entire room just looks very out dated. The owner is friendly though, brought the heater, remote control and extra sheets with just a call.

Very beautiful view. A little outdated, could use some upgrades. Didn’t realize the check in time was until 10, so we needed to call because we were going to be late and they accommodated us with no issues!

Amazing property! Roger is great and makes sure you get the best service possible while staying there. We really enjoyed our time at the place! Great views and worth all my money for the day spent! Just make sure to check ahead of time which is a good time to check in due to COVID 19

So close to Whiteface perfect for ski racers who have to be at the mountain at 730 am. Staff was very accommodating to late check in night before. Breakfast options were also nice in AM.

The place smelled like mold and my children were completely creeped out. I checked in and 10 minutes later I checked out (we could not stay there). Old style north which is my country loved the scenery and mountain view.They need to clean up the outside to many horse carts in the driveway

This may have been the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. Period. This property is a slight step above a sleazy motel. The rooms were old and dirty and the grounds were poorly maintained. Our room had stains on the carpet and walls, and we found several live bugs. The staff is also very invasive and made us uncomfortable (we caught someone peeking into our window at night - so creepy!).In terms of amenities, the wifi is so slow that it is unusable. Dont expect to find a pool despite it being included on the listing. Pet owners: expect a hidden $25 charge per pet per night.Avoid at all costs!

Great location right across from Whiteface Mt. Staff was awesome -suggestions on places to dine. Room was very comfortable and extremely clean. We will be returning and definitely staying the Ledge Rock.

Ledge Rock was a lovely place to stay. It was pouring rain but that didn't matter (you can't control the weather). We were right at the base of the mountain....gorgeous! We drove to the summit but it was so foggy that there was no view ....but.....half way up the sun came out & we had virtually the same view as the summit would have been. Ledge Rock is the perfect place to stay. Starting with our wonderful host Eric, the room was perfect. The view wonderful. I was with an artist & they drew the trees, pond & of course the mountain. All in all it was a nice one day stay & would recommend it to singles, families (lots of outdoor activities) or just anyone wanting to get away. Hope to get back again.
