Everything about this property is great. A lot of the natural jungle was left intact so makes the rooms feel secluded and private. All the food was amazing and have multiple dining options and the service was above and beyond.

Room description states queen beds when in reality there full beds . Outlets in restroom did not function . My room had plunge pool had already asked to get extra towels every time housekeeping was there and did not get . Food and drinks are good but over prized . Had asked for late check out on day 1 was told they would contact me day prior to check out , had to call them on day of check out since never received call,was told after 1 pm cost of late check out was $100 . During check out was charged $162 for late check out was also charged for meals that were not ours as well as transportation .

Our third time at the W and the staff members were even more gracious than we remembered. It's always the small things make hotel stays memorable.
The concierge, Aide, stayed beyond her shift to get our boating expedition details squared away and when we were at the pool the staff brought unexpected desserts to our teenage girls.

the little things were not good. Pool tiles falling of the side of the pool. The roof in our bathroom was leaking and flooded the floor. We will never use Expedia again.

An amazing time at the W. The hotel is beautiful the beach is amazing. The best sunsets you will ever see. The hotel is great. Very clean very comfortable. The staff is amazing. Great service from the front desk to the servers.

ATMs did not work, overpriced taxi service, make sure if you can, use Uber to go to salyulita and punta de mita towns. Uber was only $15 as opposed to the $155 taxi provided by the hotel. Otherwise the grounds were pretty. Lots of food options at the bar and beautiful views.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable.

The location is great and the property is beautiful but the food, rooms and service did not match the price. There is heavy bass music blaring truly everywhere…the rooms, restaurants, pool, beach. Additionally the jungle view rooms feel like dark concrete bunkers as they are partially subterranean with patios that are against a dirt mound.

Beautiful and vibrant design. Very comfortable rooms. Looks and beach are nice (very rough when we were there though) restaurants leave quite a bit to be desired though. Service can be slow spa is all works beautiful. Rooms and meals/drinks/spa treatments seemed expensive for quality but very nice stay. Get a car if you want to go off property. Great for a few days. Wouldn't want up spend more than a week.

Nice place but not great over 2 days. Needs better pool music and energy. Great fit for a low key resort. Not very family or kid friendly since it was so quiet. Long walks to get anywhere. Cool vibe but missing the luxory feeling.

Setting is excellent, not too big and not too small. Has most amenities one would need. Service staff was exceptional and met our personal needs. Dining options are scrumptious! Seafood was very fresh and flavorful!

We had the lagoon view villa room with a large sliding door and view of the lagoon. The room was larger than a standard hotel room. Nespresso maker always a plus. Rain shower and large bathtub. Staff were very accommodating. 2 restaurants on site and one beach bar with appetizers. Property is easily walkable to the lobby and pool. On site activities for scuba, kayak, and surfing. Taxi on site, will charge to your room. ATM in activity lounge.

The hotel is great, but a little petite in general, just a couple of dinning options, almost no entertainment at all, and it’s far from everywhere. Also they had the room but refused to upgrade us which is fair but not very hospitable and unlike what other hotels in this category always do. But overall it was a nice stay for us.

This is truly one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. It’s truly gorgeous and this comes from a world traveler person who has traveled to over 40 countries and always stays in the top notch hotels. So this property is very beautiful and well maintained. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. The reason for 4 rating instead of 5 is that everything costs way too expensive in this hotel. The smallest thing would cost double even triple the actual price. If you go to this hotel, simply enjoy the property and the amenities by closing your eyes to the bills and simply pay them. If money is no issue, you are not going to regret staying there.
