We really loved our stay at Hongkao Village. It couldn't have been better! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, set around a wonderful pool that is surrounded by lush plants and ornaments. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the breakfast is varied and delicious and the staff are so lovely. Tanya, the main receptionist, looked after us really attentively and made us feel very welcome...

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Hongkhao Village! The hotel was small with not many guest rooms, which meant that it was very quiet and peaceful, not much noise from other guests or the surrounding area. Breakfast was fantastic and there were several made to order options. The staff was always super friendly and helpful during our stay. The pool area is also beautiful and surrounded by trees, it was great to just sit and enjoy being there! Only con was that the surrounding area did not have many options nearby in terms of food or convenience stores, so a motorbike or short taxi ride is needed to get closer to that stuff, which is not far is you are not walking. The surrounding are not having much did add to the quiet and peacefulness though. 10/10 would recommend to friends.

My partner and I stayed here during the Loy Krathong and Yee Peng Festival. We wanted to be close to the main bridge along the Ping River but not in the heart of the action. It was about a 10 minute bike ride. Everything about this place was top notch. They even put on activities during the festival such as Krathong making contest so we felt really apart of it. This is a special place to stay. We had a wonderful time at Hongkhao Village. The room and the hotel are beautiful, and the staff are lovely and very attentive! It is not the most conveniently located if you are looking to be right in the action, but it was a perfect and relaxing location for us on our last night in town.

This hotel is great for the money, although we went when there was an area under construction, they were very careful to avoid making noises to early or to late at night. We staid here 4 nights, with breakfast included (great scrambled eggs btw). I got to say that the staff made us feel very comfortable, specially Joy. On our first day, we had a day tour reserved for the following morning, they were going to pick us up early in the morning(7:30am), so we werent going to make it to breakfast (since breakfast starts at 7:30am) Joy knew this, so when we were on our way out to our surprise she was waiting for us and handed us a plastic bag with fruit, waffles, waters, and yogurt (everything in boxes to go) so that we wouldnt go on an empty stomach. This just tells you they go the extra mile to take care of their customers. Needless to say the villas are very clean and with a lot of space, and the pool was good size and clean. This hotel is not too close to the city center but is a 10 min ride from the airport and 5 to 10 min from the city center and night markets. Overall great place, I would definitely recommend this to anyone, family and friends and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staffs. We were hungry around 10.00 pm and everything was closed. The lady was so nice that she even offered to get food for us. Room was nice and clean. Pool was clean and it was opened until 9.00 pm. Breakfast was nice fresh fruits, sausages, eggs, cereals etc. Overall it was a great hotel.

Our room was so spacious and nice and the hotel is beautiful. The service here is also incredible. It made our first stay in Chiang Mai easy and enjoyable!!

Hongkhao Village may be small but stepped into the resort and you will be transported to a beautiful hidden sanctuary like no other. We loved the genuine and warm hospitability of the staff - especially the receptionists Thanya and Joy who were both extremely kind, helpful and pleasant. While its location is slightly out of the way, they helped us arranged uber and frankly you can reach most of the tourist hotspots within the city within 15 to 20 mins on the car. We were impressed by the little surprises from the staff such as sending us free coconuts whilst we were chilling by the pool, and gifting us a set of refined bookmarks the day of our check-out. But what we enjoyed the most was definitely the friendly chats with the staff and story exchanges! And do look out for their resident cat Lucky around the resort :) The highlight of the resort is no doubt the pool at the heart of the property - it's totally Instagram-worthy! We also loved the Lanna-style adornments around place (think vibrant colours, red lanterns and beautiful cushions on the couch), especially the little front outside of our room on the ground floor! I highly recommend the Luxury Double Room which we stayed in, it's very spacious, clean, and well-equipped with adaptors, fridge, TV and so on. We both slept extremely well during our stay. Breakfast features the likes of Thai dishes, fruits, pastries, their omelets are great and they also offer mango sticky rice on some days.

It is a nice small resort liked hotel located closed to the city center. It is hard to locate it by car. However, we had some help by a nice neighborhood, so finally we were ok. We arrived in the evening. After we checked in and we walked out to have dinner, we found out that there is no dinner offered by the hotel. In the next morning, the breakfast was quite good. They tried to offer a buffet liked breakfast. However, the pre-cooked eggs are one of the issues. The manager talked to us about any improvement required so I told her my concern. We were so surprised that they offer a new egg manual on the next morning. It is so effective and not just ask questions without action. Also, it is too cold for my son to swim (it is far too cold than we expected), so the manager found a blow up rainbow boat for us to play. She is so considerate. My son had quite some great time in the nice centered pool for both days. I will stop here, it doesn't mean that this hotel is perfect. It just mean that they have the heart to improve and make you feel better.

There are also food carts here which is where I ate dinner while enjoying the music (pop, not jazz). Overall, despite the internet problem, I would recommend this hotel.

Staying at Hongkhao Village was amazing! I really love the decoration of the hotel, bed was very comfy ,swimming pool looked great but unfortunately i didnt have enough time to swim,, so i will definitely come back and spend my time here again!! Anyway, There is only one poor thing . Not many choices for breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. It was a little out of town but the beautiful buildings and the Lanna style buildings and the atmosphere they have created was great. It was cosy, friendly and the staff went out of their way to help us whenever we needed anything. They were making some renovations when we were there so they can have a restaurant.

The room and the hotel are exceptional -spacious Thai decor with a nice patio for our door sitting and a large restroom. It was exceptionally clean and a peaceful rratreat from the hustle and bustle. The included breakfast with some western options (toast yogurt and fruit) and the serene swimming pool,were perfect for my children. There is nothing to see in close walking distance but the friendly staff will help set up a ride to your destination or can help book excursions.
