Staff very accommodating. Access to room most convenient.

Clean & tidy pub with excellent rooms. Large room with double bed and shower room. Good dining in large restaurant and excellent breakfast. Would recommend the food. Staff attentive and fairly polite. Only criticism and its small, is dont serve tea in vacuum jugs at breakfast. Had to ask for tea in a teapot, which duly arrived hot and fresh. Thank you for a wonderful night

Pleasant stay in nice room.Easy to find with good car parking. Service was slow at dinner and breakfast but staff were friendly.Toilet did not flush very well. Overall a good place to stay and centrally located to alot of local attractions

We had a one night stay in room 101. A nice large bedroom, but right above the function room and back door, and just our luck to pick the one night they had someones birthday party on! Breakfast was average. Asked for poached egg on toast and got boiled eggs on bread (one item cooked to much and the other not cooked enough).

Wonderful rooms, clean and comfy. Nice pub facilities. Service was a little slow but all the staff were super friendly and helpful - just busy!

Had a great stay at this hotel, the room was probably this biggest I've stayed in. The room was spotlessly clean and modern and fresh. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant which was really nice and not to expensive, the restaurant itself had good atmosphere. would defiantly recommend a stay here.

Such a great place to stay, lovely location; staff the most helpful and friendliest I’ve been around for such a long time and the best part was being serenaded by the chef, from the kitchen when working whilst we waited for food, a really happy place. The cleaners were happy and friendly too. As for the food, just beautiful and so reasonably priced, don’t miss the breakfast, excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff were all polite and attentive, the restaurant and bar had a good atmosphere. Definitely hope to visit again!

Check in was chaotic and there was an issue over my food order in the restaurant but the pub was lovely, well decorated, good food and the accommodation excellent, comfortable and great value.

Not often I give credit to the places I stay However the bar manager was extremely helpful and the food was better than some four star hotels

We had a 3 night stay at The Horse and Jockey. The hotel was excellent, staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent as was the evening meals. There was a good choice on the menu and reasonably priced (breakfast was included).

The pub was very friendly, spotlessly clean and the staff were superb. Sadly, the dinner menu was poor and the chef seemed to think meals should be drowned in gravy. Apparently, this menu is for the autumn so I know not to stay here between September and November. I would stay at any other time as this is a wonderful place.

Great hotel

Really a very good place for stay. Very clean, quiet and good location. Air-conditioned rooms which was a huge plus as we stayed during a warm day. Food was brilliant too. Breakfast was included and we dined there the evening before as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only (more a suggestion, really) concern was the check-in. There's a seperate entrance for residents which is well thought and done. Likewise if there's a dedicated or a more secluded spot for check-ins and outs it will be excellent.

Felt welcomed at the Horse and Jockey. Professional and courteous staff. The establishment looked clean throughout. Comfortable spacious bedroom and hearty breakfast the next morning. Lovely place !

What a great find! We only stayed one night on this occasion but we will definitely be returning. Lovely accommodation, spacious rooms, spotless and very comfy. Ample breakfast with a great choice and evening meals were also varied and reasonable. We had steak - lovely! Plenty of parking too. Staff were friendly and helpful - I really can't find anything negative to say.

Other than the noise from the road & the Cat that was on the hot tin roof Screeching for hours, OH, or was she trying to sing? We had a fantastic stay thank you. Thankfully having air conditioning, we could drown the Cat. Lunch & breakfast excellent. All staff excellent. THANK YOU.
