The room was very dim with low light lamps. We did not have an exhaust fan in the bathroom and the shower drain wouldn’t stay open. We had to prop it open with the lotion sampler and hold it to drain.

Booked a King room, checking in the said they didn’t have any King rooms. Tried to downgrade to 2 queens. Ended up with a King Suite instead. Comfortable bed!

The single king room that I paid for was NOT available and was given two queens instead...not the romantic stay that I had intended. Then they informed me that management increased the pet fees 33%. Do NOT stay next to the stairwell... banging all night long! After the second day of a three day stay, when I asked for more clean towels the front desk clerk looked at me as if I was trying to steal them. At check out, a written receipt for the pet fees and incidentals could not be provided...nor a verbal total amount given. No southern hospitality here!

Our door would not latch without slamming. TV did not initially work. Shower door didnt work. Staff was smiling and excellent. Just sad to see the hotel go down, as we were there a few years ago and it was nice.

Overall, the stay was fine. It was a little frustrating, though that the receptionist stayed busy on the phone for what seemed like a long time while there was another couple and us waiting in line.

In town to visit family. View from our room was blocked by the port above entrance. Our bed was super comfortable!
Breakfast ends at 9:00 am and was very good. Information about breakfast time needs to be updated on signs and room information book. It states breakfast ends at 10:00 a.m.
Pool didn’t look very clear so we chose not to swim.

Had to cancel because of a famiky emergency. Manger/Owner called after canceling 4 hours earlier and was very rude. Her reply, 'I didn't get cancelation! You WILL NOT get money back.' I understood when i called and canceled and did not appreciate the rude attitude.
