Unfortunately the conditions of the rooms are not optimal as walls are dirty, tv didn't work and lighting in the room was poor. The main hall as you enter the building is lovely and very bohemian though, shame the condition of the rooms are not good.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The location is very good, around a 7 minute walk to the centre. It's almost accross from the Ambar Museum, close drive to the ADO bus terminal. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.

Very comfortable here. The only complaint would be that you can hear clearly from other rooms, the talking and especially in the halls. Talked to the owners about loud voices in hall at 3 in the am two knights, she looked into it and the last night was quiet at that time.🙂

We have stayed here 5 or 6 years ago. We were happy with our stay then and now. The owners were very acvomodating a knoledgable of the area. We started with 3 nights and are now on 5th and 6th

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.
Only gave four stars because noise from neighboring rooms was an issue, and water pressure on the sink was low.

A great place to stay especially for budget conscious travelers. It is within a few blocks of the major attractions, super close to great restaurants and the service level is excellent.

Nice place to stay, very quiet and comfortable beds. Bath very clean and hot water. Had an issue with the hot water though, it did not last for all four of us. Restaurants and shops at a walkable distance.

We have now stayed at Hotel San Luis many times, and each time it has always been fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and very comfortable

Very pleasant stay and friendly attentive staff. Close enough to walk to center of town. The rooms were very clean. We stayed 6 days.
The only negative is the walls were not very sound proof.
I will stay there againg when I return to San Cris.

This is a wonderful hotel that I appreciate staying in! I have to travel frequently through San Cristobal for work and when I do, I try to stay at San Luis. It's close enough to the central square area and the rooms are clean and well taken care of! It's a family owned and operated, so it has a nice homey feel to it.

Comfortable, affordable , clean and very well located. . I’ve read previous reviews and people unfairly evaluated this property as if it was a 5-star hotel! Quite honestly the service offered by this property and its staff it is an excellent value for your money! If you are a light sleeper know that there’s no noise from the street, though you hear people from the hall on their way to their rooms. Otherwise it is quiet. Overall I strongly recommend this place!

This place is cute. It’s fairly basic but has a great location...close enough to walk but far enough from the chaos. The staff was so stinkin friendly! They were helpful and I felt safe. Way more value than what you pay for. I will be back!
