It was a lovely place: clean, updated, comfortable beds, pillows, linens, etc. All the staff was courteous and friendly! The gym was adequate for my purposes and clean and well kept! We had a great stay!

The front desk people are not welcoming or warm. I felt like I was bothering them when I asked about room service and even when I checked in and out. The valet people are super nice and helpful although I have a minor dent on my driver's side door. The room was very well decorated, the bed was comfortable. You can really tell that the hotel is animal friendly because theres no way they can get out all the dog hair. I was wearing black leggings one day and I noticed a lot of dog hair on them after sitting on the couches and bed. Overall a comfortable stay.

Staff were nice. Rooms are old and outdated. Nevertheless seen duch a small bathroom sink. It was so tiny, you couldn’t bring anything normal bathroom items such as toothpaste, razor and such.
Wallpaper was pealing away. Very few electrical outlets.
Storage for clothes was ridiculous. Situated so low to the ground that if you hung up suit pants or even a belt they were laying on the ground.
More Holiday Inn than Hilton.

Check in process took very long. Fire Alarm went off at 2:30am on Thursday night until 3:30am. Front desk was run poorly. The employees were unprofessional. Other rooms were very loud as well after hours.

This is probably our 4 or 5 time staying here, and it’s always a great experience. Rooms are large and comfy, bathrooms clean and solid water temp/pressure. We enjoy the rooftop bar and the staff are always very professional and helpful. Recommend to anyone visiting Richmond (and perfect location for VCU parents)

services were just inconsistent and a long wait. while i understand that it was a holiday weekend, our experience did seem consistent what others on Google shared. we gave the hotel the benefit of doubt, but mainly wanted to stay because of the rooftop pool which could not open until 6pm and then closed the next morning.

Room had a queen sheet on a king bed so it wouldn’t keep on the mattress. Hair in the toilet and also a hairy bar of soap in the shower upon arrival. Facility has a shortage of water for consumption. 2 cans in the room for a 4 day stay. Won’t give you additional at the front desk because they don’t have any. They send you to the bar. The bar doesn’t have any water but will give you a plastic cup from the tap to take to your room. Bring your own water. Decent place, but quite a few issues and I’m not picky.

Great location for going to Altria Theater. Easy to use Valet parking. Byrd house for a drink and quick dinner before show was a nice bonus. Enjoyed “welcome” from front desk staff

Property was pretty and interior lobby. The actual room needs updating. Rust marks, chips in furniture, cabinets did not stay closed, stain on chair, took 10 mins to get just warm water for shower, had to keep adjusting the toilet because flap wouldn't close and was running.

This is a great place right in the heart of Richmond. It's convenient to VCU and the Fan. The staff was wonderful and there are a lot of great amenities.

Very nice hotel with a great rooftop bar in a great location. My only complaint is that valet parking is all they offered and it was very expensive at around 40$ a night. The valet can also take around 30 minutes or so to get your vehicle when it gets busy.
I would definitely stay here again, but would look into different parking options on my return.

Overall a great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the front end. The hotel could use some upgrades, such as more vending machines and microwaves (how about vending/microwave stations on each floor?). I would definitely stay again.

The staff was the best thing about this hotel! They were extreme friendly and went above and beyond for us.
The theme of the graduate is interesting and the decor attempts to be more unique and modern. However, the bathroom without a counter is completely impractical. There was also no desk so not sure how people should get ready without any counter space. The bed was hard as a rock and very low to the ground which was also odd.
Our keys stopped working and we were locked out of our room at one point but the staff gave us drink vouchers so we could grab a drink from the bar while we waited.

The shower floor needs a good scrub with something like sift scrub to minimize the 'dirt' stains. Bathroom was clean.
We were put off at arrival and unpacking our car that there was a homeless women sitting at the entrance and immediately asking to speak to me and requesting funds. Another individual started talking to me and I walked away. We support the homeless condition as volunteers, grate patrol, donation of food,feeding the homeless but prefer not to be approached when on vacation at the hotel at which we are paying to stay. Though not us but this could make customers feel uneasy about staying at the venue.
