Near to Alvsjo Commuter Train station and Congress Center

Property was really conveniently located close to the train stop. I could see the train station from my window. Windows were soundproofed so there was no noise. And there were blackout drapes so I could sleep when I wanted to. I got there a few hrs before checkin and asked if I could get a room early, I got a room at about 1 pm. Only downside was that my tv didnt work. But, I would definitely stay there again.

I was in Stockholm for a Blink-182 concert. The motel was conveniently placed near the metro, the staff were outstanding, the bed was amazing, and the overall experience was great. I wish I was in Stockholm and at the Motel L Alvsjo for longer. Thank you Stockholm and Motel L for a GREAT trip.

Great Hotel, right next to the train station. Clean room, very polite staff and at Stockholm central within 10mins by train. Would recommend!

Hotel was new and clean. Room was very nice and quiet. Would stay again. Free parking on the main road if you happen to find free spot.

Clean and comfortable hotel near the conference centre. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. There is a large comfortable lounge on the ground floor.

What a great find, close to commuter rail and very quick easy access to Stockholm central. My only complaint? So difficult to say Älvsjö if you're not Swedish. 😄

We got very good service even when we messed up with bars opening times. Everything was really nice. Breakfast was expensive tho

The beds are so soft though. And had multiple issues in control of both lighting and heating systems in the room which was disappointing. The controls were not working so I had to rig things to keep the room comofortable. The dinner menu does not live up to the same level of expectation as the free breakfast which was rather surprising. I will not be having dinner meals there again.

Perfect location for convention, clean and safe! The staff is very helpful. The Bedroom and bed was very comfortable. Good wifi!

Good location for 10 min commuter train to central station. Bed really small and far too soft. Otherwise great hotel as base for seeing Stockholm.

The architects and designers evidently put a lot of thought into their work, as the layout and features of the room were perfect. Many plug outlets and good lighting. The heating is centrally controlled with only minor adjustments possible from the room but this worked fine; there is no door to the shower yet it does not flood the entire bathroom (unlike in some other very expensive hotels in Stockholm) and water pressure is excellent. The only bad point was that the bed was far too soft (I don't understand why people want to sleep with their backs curved) but this was remedied by sleeping on top of one of the pillows. I had to wait a long time to check in at 2100 because there was only one member of staff who was dealing with some guest problem, eventually another member of staff came by. Another guest arrived shortly after me and had to wait just as long, so perhaps the hotel should increase staffing levels until a bit later in the evening. Check out also was a bit slow (including for the guest in front of me) even though both of us had pre-paid - I would expect it to take less than 10 seconds to verify payment was already made, but it took nearly a minute both times. The location is very close to the commuter train station and due to the fare structure of SL, if there happens to be a bus 142, 144, 145 or 190 waiting just as you exit the station, you can even jump on for one stop without having to pay anything extra and be delivered right to the entrance.

Very good hotel, modern and spacious rooms. Great shower. Comfortable beds. Wifi sucks and I just hate carpets! Overall, a very good hotel!

Excellent service, very clean, good price. Comfortable beds. Great shower head/pressure. The room is very small but well used space; it was just fine for what we needed. Wifi signal was super weak in room, but lots of great couches and lounge areas downstairs with strong signal. We had a good stay :)

This hotel is very close to the train station at Alvsjo (vaguely pronounced elphew). There is a grocery store at the station a convenience store or a Subway and a coffee shop. the hotel tell has a nice downstairs area where you could buy a beer or a coffee and meet with friends. The room was really comfortable and well laid out and the bed was nice as well. There is a small fitness room with dumbbells a treadmill and a couple other machines. This station is three stops from Stockholm Central Station and very easy to get to trains leave all the time I would return here the next time I stay in Stockholm.

Although 3 of us stayed, we were given only 2 bath towels everyday and I had to go and request for an extra towel daily. They said they will pass the message to house keepers but the message never reached them from the reception desk. On one day, we adjusted with only 2 towels as there was no spare available immediately and they asked us to wait for 20-30 mins for the house keepers to come.The other cause for inconvenience to us was lack of proper wifi signal in our room as ours was the far end room from the reception area. One member of staff told us that there is nothing she can do and even suggested us to come with our laptop and sit in the lobby area !!No coffee/tea facility in the rooms. Its available in the lobby and one can drink unlimited, but after a day full of sightseeing etc, you do not feel like coming back to the lobby again for a drink. You would want to sip a cuppa in the comforts of your room.Positives of staying here is the train station is only 5 mins away by walk and bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The area is quiet and co op/subway is about 6-7 mins away. A microwave is available to use and is great for those who love to bring their own food and want to heat it.
