The thematic stay is a wonderful getaway and cooler than just a hotel near the beach. It makes the stay much more memorable. The full kitchen setup also is super awesome. Great to be able to cook during the stay.

I’m not usually the type that leaves reviews when I’m unsatisfied. But this place was pretty bad and we felt misled. To make a long rant short, the area is not so great. The place had a musty, stale smoke smell. We could even smell cat urine in one of the bedrooms There was some type of air purifier that i think they were hoping would remedy that. The toilet paper was straight from the gas station bathroom., The hand soap was literally water (produced zero suds). Even the Dawn soap at the kitchen sink was watered down. Two large spiders accompanied us during our stay. The place is dark, outdated and just a bit creepy. I’m a business owner myself and I understand overhead and keeping expenses at bay. But I just don’t understand how saving a coupe of bucks is beneficial to the greater scheme of it. We did appreciate the attempt and creativity of the room though.

This property was amazing. There was so much thought into the details and décor. Highly recommend.

We loved the photos of the houses. Alas we had some issues. The manager was very responsive however I think the units could use a deep cleaning and a refresh.

Took our kiddo for a quick weekend trip. We stayed in the Medieval cottage. They really did a great job with the decor. Felt like our own little castle for e few days. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Ocean Shores I definitely recommend Shorebird Villas. We will definitely be back.

I stayed at this villa for a few days and honestly very nice Although I came up around at the less fun months so I didn’t really do much

The multiple bedrooms and bed options were nice, beds were very comfortable, walls thin, stair carpet old, not many dishes.

Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the themed decor and props but the guy on the balcony creeped them out a little LOL

The place was clean. Suppose to be no pets. The upstairs stunk like cat piss. The condo next to us had a dog.The couches we not comfortable to sit on at all. Just glad we did not spend alot of time in the condo.

This place was great inside. Very clean and loved the decorations.

The Hawaiian Villa looks just like the photos. It was nice and roomy and very colorful. I would most definitely stay here again.

The hotel is great! I love all the designs and details they had done. We had 4 people and feel there is only one bathroom in the whole house is a little inconvenient.

We will definitely be back next summer. My daughter absolutely loved the villa and property/toys around it. I loved how private and tucked away they were but close to everything. Communication was always fantastic and the decor was really fun.

A little off the beaten path, but definitely a different experience than staying in a hotel or inn, not your typical road trip stop. This Egyptian themed villa is unique and comes with a selection of Egyptian themed movies, pretty cool!

Check in was a little different, but over all everything was fine.

I would definitely give a better rating if the television worked and didn't have strong order when we arrived and the the caretakers dog shouldn't be out let out to Growl around at guests

There was a strong smell in the bedrooms. One bedroom has no windows.

My family had an amazing time staying in the Pirate themed villa this last weekend. We loved the fun décor and the knickknacks throughout. The management was very prompt with any questions. The whole villa was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We look forward to trying out some of the other themes in the future.

What a great stay. A fun spot close to everything. We will be back to stay in a different themed house soon!

Nice to have a little house that affords privacy. Appreciate that the Hawaiian themed house allows pets.

10/10! Was one of the best out of town stays we’ve ever had. Super clean, quiet, and comfortable. Makes you really feel at home. There was board games which was perfect for some well needed family time with our teenagers. Would recommend to anyone and can’t wait to go back and stay in another unit!

This property was just what we needed for a short getaway to regroup. It was close enough to walk to the beach, it was quiet, it was very clean, and completely relaxing which is what we needed. In fact, we want to bring the kids back with us next time for a weekend family getaway.

The place and decor were cool. But it smelled like urine.
