Little hotel room - does the job for one night . Saturday nights the noise - extreme noise , yelling , screaming , doors being slammed for about an hour from 0130 to 0230 about fifty severe slams in that time - IMPOSSIBLE to sleep through any of that .

Easy check in. Clean room. Rooms are a bit dated but good value. Can get noisy at night if close to the outdoor area at the back of the pub.

When I booked I was under the understanding I was booking a motel room not a hotel room
When I checked in at the desk I was given key to room 21 when I opened the door I find there was a couple already in the room {lucky they were dressed}
I was given room 22 instead
I was to learn it was shared bathroom facilities something I was angry about
Friday night there was a what seemed to me to be a party loud laughing / shouting and then music coming from the room next door,
There always seemed to be doors banging just so noisy even on Thursday evening and again in the morning
So Friday night at 11.30pm after not bing able to get to sleepI packed my bags and left
Went down the road to a safe place and slept in the car
The passage carpet was thread bear in one small area, my assessment of the passage carpet and stair carpet was it had not been cleaned in a very very long time
The bed linnen was clean and no complaints there
I had a nice meal in the restraunt on Thursday evening
Please note I have never filled out one of these surveys before but I felt cheated in a way that I did not stay where i thought I would be staying. If I had known where i was going to be given a room I would not have stayed here
I have not checked to see if the information on the web site told me what I would be getting as I cant be bothered.
If I got it wrong then I appologise

This property although it was very old suited our purpose for our stay, we just needed a clean bed and somewhere to shower. Where it is situated is right on a lighted intersection and trucks and other traffic had to stop or start off again. After a few nights we became somewhat acclimatised to the noise which was very loud most mornings and evenings. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

No door on shower hence floor gets wet and dangerous for elderly people.!! Wall needs painting expecially around radiator!! Drip catch container under radiiator! One dining chair for 2 people!! One spare blanket for 2 people!! Very noisy location. Floor of vanity cupboard rotted and collasping.

Some of the door locks broken in the ladies bathrooms and the room we stayed in was clearly broken into through the door and patched but it made it had to open and close the door but the staff fantastic and super friendly just little maintenance needed

It‘s very noise in the night because the pub just next door. Parking area in the front of building is small. Morning check out the front desk is lock, can‘t find anyone.

Room was very basic but as expected. Only real problem was band playing downstairs until 1am, and then noise from patrons still inside or outside for some time after.
Room had sink and fridge with tea and coffee but no milk at all.

The hotel was good value for money. Lovely dining room, didn't want to go to the bar though.
The bedding and mattresses were fantastic.
Only problem was the TV. It was intermittent at best whether it would turn on. Then it would randomly change channels and volumes. We think.....maybe all the tv's are on the same frequency or something and our neighbours tv choices came up on ours. i guess not a big deal, but a small country town at night, you'd like to watch a bit of tv.
Otherwise a solid and cost effective place to stay.

This is a place you would only ever stay at out of necessity. This hotel is dated, dark and dingy. The bed sheets were clean but the carpet in the room was gross. I didn't want to walk on it without shoes. The sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned and the shared bathroom facilities were awful. It was like using public toilets. The shower had tiles falling off, stains of I don't know what and the light didn't work so you had to shower in the dark.
My room was directly above the pokies room in the pub down stairs so the noise from the machines carried on until the pub closed each night.
I walked out of my room at one point and the housekeepers were in the hall. One looked at me and said "What the f*** do you want?"
It was the cheapest option in Lithgow and my expectations were low but this experience was the worst. There wasn't ever anyone at reception to say anything to either. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

You get what you pay for. Very cheap accommodation but Friday and Saturday I was unable to sleep before 2am because of the noise.

Allocated room in Old Hotel section - room was clean & tidy and basic amentities with shared ablutions- (No AC in room but enjoyed fresh air as on 2nd floor)
Negatives - main room light did not work and was very dirty, fridge noisy and TV (all 20" of it did not work at all) Lack of towel racks and clothing hooks in shower/ bathroom

Lithgow is a great area, my room was okay. No fan or air con in hot weather but I was able to open the window. Shared bathroom was clean. The old carpet has been through a lot and smells like it too.

They never enter into the room for house keeping after checked in. I used the same beddings and towels until checkout. Shower hot water temperature is unstable, sometimes gets hot or cold. The location is convenient. TV radio waves are unstable, image is noisy, often blackout because of weak signal. First day beddings were clean.

My wife and I were put up in a different room without a bay view that we had booked. In our room, we found a broken lamp shade, 1 broken ceiling light cover and 1 missing, broken antenna wall cover, broken wall light cover by the bed; mouldy bathroom cupboard, broken bathroom power point switch; too short curtain at the back window, only 1 tea spoon for 2 people, window screens with holes, no air-conditioner; and 1 open water bottle in the fridge.

With some simple bathroom repair and updated improvements this would increase satisfaction by another 2 stars. Chairs comfy, bed comfy and manchester spotless.

The area outside the room was littered with cigarette butts and ashtrays
The area near the beer garden had broken glass to add to the cigarette butts
On the highway and close to the train line it’s noisy
The staff on our first night Thursday were awesome friendly the food was great
Second night Friday very quiet staff rude almost intimidating when we complained of the pizza not being hot and asked for refund which we DID NOT get lots of reasons why it was warm pizza oven not working properly etc but no apology this isn’t Domino’s
Didn’t help that staff began clearing the table before I’d finished eating
Raffle which we bought tickets in couldn’t hear the the numbers being drawn didn’t know it was drawn until the used raffle tickets were collected
The room was basic clean the cups weren’t washed or replaced on the second day

This is not a family friendly motel, not ideal for kids. The hotel pub next door was very noisy from music and people yelling outside. If you need a good nights rest and have to get up early don’t stay here!

I had to kick my door to open it, and to make sure it was closed. Cleanliness was great. Light in bathroom did not work. Which is why I stayed. No other reason. Noise was all night from trucks and traffic. Right on hwy at the lights so it was noisy and all trucks had to brake and then start up again.Only about fifteen feet from road. Asked when I booked in if it was possible to switch to the last room away from road. Not full but told no due to booking being completed. This is a place where workers get a clean bed and a room and meal. I would not recommend it for any other purpose.
