Stay was fine however for a handicapped person it was difficult to get on bed which was too high.

If you have any mold allergies DO NOT stay here. Rooms are musty from poorly maintained AC units. Carpets felt wet. Requested another room, with several other options to look at. They all were the same. Attempted to stay in the final “option” and couldn’t stay the full night~ checked out within hours (honestly should have gotten a refund the moment I arrived to the room). Staff was accommodating at first, but became dismissive when I wanted a manager let alone a refund. Had to get keys reprogrammed multiple times. Staff called the room at 11pm twice times to get a loaned key back (which ended up being a master key). Rooms not soundproof so could hear everything around me. Floors/walls/bathroom dirty. The mattress smelled of old cigarette smoke and must. Had to change hotels within hours of check in. Didn’t feel safe as a solo traveler. Extremely disappointed in La Quinta. Luckily hotels.com was able to get me a refund and credit and found a better place to stay within an hour of my early departure. Worst experience ever.

The room was nice. Cleanliness was not the best. We had a water spot on the ceiling that should have been repaired. Bed was comfortable and noise was low.

There shower rail was loose, the door lock was coming off hinges, there were hairballs on the floor and the tv didn’t work.

The stay was good and convenient however they do need some renovations.

Stay far far away from this disgusting mold and ant infested property. I have never wrote a review before in my life but felt like it is very necessary in this case. We arrived after midnight Friday so it was super late when we checked in. Immediately entering our room was an overwhelming smell of mold. The carpet was super moist but it was super late and dark and we thought maybe we were smelling things. The morning came and my gut was right. We found mold all over the room and they tried to hide it and cover it up with the furniture. I immediately went downstairs to complain to management and the first thing they said was there was no mold in that room the other day. They offered to put me in a different room so my husband followed them into the room and that room was also covered in mold, they took him to another room that had a huge chunk of ceiling missing from it, finally the third room seemed ok so we took it. We were gone the whole day moving my daughter into her dorm and when we returned late at night to sleep, we pulled the sheets back and both beds were COVERED in ants. I have never felt so disgusted to stay in a hotel in my life. I had my kids with me and they were so scared to even sit on the bed. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN! It is so unhealthy to have people breathe in all that mold! You all have been warned. Don’t ever stay here!!! If I can give it a negative star I would!

Whole property smelled like mildew, and would not give the same room as the first room they gave had water all over the floor

It was OK given the price. The breakfast is pretty basic and the cleanliness definitely was not where it should be. TV service was a the bed was pretty nice and the AC worked great

Lack of cleanliness

The hardware on the nightstands, dresser, and door frame was rusted. The bathroom exhaust fan had painter's tape around it. The plastic coating was not completely removed from shower door frame, and the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. The shower door leaked, and had to use towels to soak up the water on the floor. The air conditioner cooled the room but made strange noises. The room was advertised to have a tub/shower combination, but there was no tub. It is just a tub-sized shower.

The property looks nothing like the photos. Our first room was dirty, hair in the shower, very dirty phone, chair, floor. The room was very musty and smelled terrible. We asked to move and the next room was slightly better, but still not clean. The AC said it was on high but the room never got cool. We would never stay here again!

The man checking us in was on his phone the whole time we were checking in. Very rude. We got to the room and the carpet was torn and the window was broken. We tripped over the torn carpet. We will never stay at a LaQuinta again.

We killed multiple roaches in the room in one night one of our beds was also covered in ants. Room was dirty looks like maintenance never cleans correctly or under every surface. I will never stay here again. TERRIBLE JUST TERRIBLE

Excellent hotel good breakfast

The service from front desk as soon as u walk in for check in. So clean and smells so freash as soon as you walk in. I stay here 2 times a year and continue to stay every time I visit Kingsville, Tx.

The room we first stayed was smelly, very hot, dirty shower, ac not working properly . Second room was still smelly, ac barely working, no vent in the rr, shower door barely closed. Pillows were hard.. we just had a terrible experience .

The carpets in both rooms was wet. It smelled musty. We were moved from one of our rooms due to the wet carpet and smell.

We were greeted by a drunk/druggie in the parking lot who then came in the lobby and sat in a booth. Getting off the elevator to our room he was somehow on the floor below our, elevator stopped for his but he didn't get on. Having kids with me I was very concerned and asked the front desk about him. He apparently has had a room there a week or so and is weird and just roams the hotels halls till he goes to bed. Upon entry to our room the door was open, weird... we only had one body towel. The room was dirty and the tv worked 5 minutes at a time before freezing and rebooting. The "store" was empty and they had not Kleenex in the room just a decorative empty cover. Ice machine did not work on the 4th floor. Hung the do not disturb sign and housekeeping still knocked on the door at 9am. We WILL NOT be back!

The propery was ratehr dirty. The shared bathroom by the fitness center was super dirty and they didnt have a trash can for in the bathroom. Also the toilet in our room was dirty from the floor up. It looked like they were mopping ,but lwft long hairs arouns the toilet . Front desk was extremely nice and very helpful. She let us check in at noon when notmally check in time is at 3pm . The breakfast was great.

Carpet on halls dirty, sheets on room look old and stained. Pillows were just worn out super uncomfortable. Zero noise reduction i could hear the lobby from my room. At breakfast employee was microwaving bacon took her like 15 minutes and was like rubber. Limited breakfast selection. Room was for 5 but only beds for 2. When asked was told it was on to figure it out. Dont understand why they took a reservation for 5 if they cannot accomodate. Shower curtain way too small water just kept going out. They provided one tiny soap enough for one person. And the vents were being held by blue tape. Overall my worst Quinta stay ever

This hotel is in serious need of maintenance, it is falling apart.

Hotel smelled a bit musty and could use a good deep cleaning. Looked like there had been some work going on in the building Cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom and dust on the baseboards in my room but it was a place to lay my head after a long day. Would stay again.

I left my keys at the check-in counter and thought I had lost them. The whole staff did a wonderful job of hunting them down the next morning. Due to to shift changes no one knew where they were. The morning crew got it figured out and returned them to me. Fabulous job everyone!!
