Good. We'd stay again but no microwave in rooms, pool being serviced whrn traveling with kid etc.

The service was excellent from the front desk. We were greeted each time we walked in and out of the building and even received texts to ensure our stay was going well throughout our stay. The property was beautiful and in a great location. Our room was clean, comfortable, and chic. The gym was functional, clean, and had great equipment to get a good workout in. There was a cute grocery store right across the street and a park behind the building to take our dog out. Many great restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and stores right outside the property. The only downside was that the pool was down during our stay and the front side of the property was boarded up in anticipation of election protests (as were most buildings downtown during our time in Portland). We will definitely be back to visit and already decided we’ll stay here again when we return!

The hotel staff were excellent and the hotel was clean. The room was nice but they could step up their mattress game a bit. The location was great, with lots of shops within walking distance. We went to a concert at the Moda Center and rode the trolley to and from.

I stay at this property frequently for business. This trip was a very different experience. The front desk contact with Matai was wonderful however the breakfast staff and valet parking left a lot to be desired. The valet gentleman was rude and off putting. I checked my car in when I arrived and called for the car the morning I was to check out to load my bags and check out early. When my car came - the driver was flustered by traffic and drove my car unacceptably- it was difficult to watch. Then gave me a hard time and said I could have just asked them to load my bags for me so he did not have to bring the car. When I explained that ALL other trips to this property, the valet had asked that I just call for the car like normal, we could load and they would take the car back to the garage. I have never seen this gentleman before but the claimed to be the valet parking manager and if I complained it would just be to him - so go ahead and complain. Unacceptable, won’t be staying at this property in the future.

Great spot in the Pearl District with great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and walking distance to great restaurants and events. We will be staying here again.

Very close to powell's city of books and moda center. Valet parking service is very safe and easy to use. Free breakfast menu is simple but fair enough.

This was a great spot to stay. It hotel itself was clean with very friendly staff. The breakfast each morning was awesome and there were plenty of places just walking distance from it.

This is a really nice hotel in the middle of Portland's Pearl district. The staff was very efficient and friendly, and the room was well laid out and super clean. Many restaurants are within walking distance.

Great location for downtown Portland. Hotel is close to many amenities and easy to get around. You can easily walk or get a ride to any venue or upcoming event. No need to drive you own car and struggle to find a parking place. Simply use valet at the hotel and enjoy your stay.

The hotel has a patio on the roof, a perfect place to relax after all the sightseeing, all the employees were very friendly and professional.

The hotel was lovely. The downtown area has a lot of homeless people and as a result the general area has a lot of garbage left behind by the homeless.We felt you had to be aware of your surroundings when walking in the area.

We didn’t have a vehicle so we walked or took transit all week because it was easily accessible. We felt very safe in and around the hotel. The property was very clean and welcoming. Our room was nicely decorated and very quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Loved the coffee/tea station in the lobby. Our only complaint is that housekeeping only came every second day. The first time they took all the dirty towels and emptied the garbage cans but left the beds unmade. Would definitely stay here again.

The Hamptons was very clean and check-in/out was fairly easy. Room, fitness center and Roof Top were all clean and appealing. The free breakfast was also nice and it was great that it was till 9am. Overall, the place is amazing and it’s close to everything. Anything south of NW 9th you’ll just have to be careful because it’s getting close to the Park Blocks and Union Station area. I used to live in the area so I’m familiar and know my way around.

This was such a beautiful hotel! The room, the property, the hotel as a whole was just awesome!!! We enjoyed the rooftop patio so much, the views you get from there are just wonderful! And it was so nice sitting out on a cool morning & evening, I even enjoyed my breakfast up there one day in the peace and quiet! Beds were comfortable and hotel felt extremely secure with key pads placed throughout for entry, elevator access, etc.

Wonderful hotel, the staff was amazing. The general manager, Alona, helped out when I encountered a few issues with a booking. The receptionists were extremely friendly to everyone, and one of them (I didn't catch his name, unfortunately), had a bunch of stickers and bubbles for children. Our party really appreciated the hot breakfast buffet and the rotating selection of sausages. Only negative was one morning the shower water temperature didn't get hot enough, but this was during a very busy day and I got a hot shower later in the day. Will book again next time I'm in Portland!

Great amenities, good service, comfortable stay. Daytime walking was ok, but night time I did not feel safe with homeless people nearby. This is in general in Portland. ☹️

The location is pretty good for Downtown, with plenty public transport in walking distance. It would be improved if the crockery and cutlery were washable. It feels a terrible waste to use so much disposable stuff, and would avoid the unpleasant experience of plastic cutlery and floppy paper plates. Staff lovely, pool and roof terrace good, so really just this one thing that lets it down.

We have nothing but positive things to say. We stayed five night while visiting our adult daughter who lives three blocks from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view. Breakfast was above average for hotel breakfasts. Every staff member we encountered greeted us and was very friendly. Two front desk workers were particularly helpful: Parris and Walks(?). We will definitely stay here again when we return to see our daughter in Portland.

We came for a concert at Moda Center and it was a great spot for 2 adults & 2 children. There were several restaurants within walking distance. Valet staff were kind & courteous and didn't take long to retrieve our vehicle when we checked out. The kids had a great time in the pool area and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely stay again.
