Great location, superior room quality, and the staff was very helpful

Good location, good service, good facilities!

Old, dirty and smelly! I will never come back.

The property is a bit older - and shows its age. But the beds are comfortable and the housekeeping does a good job. I did stay in a room that felt slightly dusty - but it was cleaned up nicely afterwards. The public bath is very nice, and a coin laundry room also came in handy.

Well, first night I found some bugs on my bed. Hotel staff promptly change me to a new room.

Location was amazing, reception staff were not welcoming, breakfast was not enough for us and doesn’t have variety of food for different nationalities like us. In addition the spa was spectacular.

A convenient hotel with lots of eating places around. Easy walk to the subway. The hotel has a coin laundry which suited us perfectly!

We had a great stay. We chose this hotel because it had a rooftop onsen and also had triple rooms and on both counts it was excellent. Rooftop baths were great although only the men's had a cold plunge pool. Rooms of course were a little cramped but we had enough room for our family of 3 with a separate sofa futon for my 3 yo son. The airconditioner did that gurgling noise referred to in other reviews but this was easily ignored. We had a (slightly obscured) view of Tokyo tower which was lovely. Lots of convenience stores nearby, restaurants and shops of all kinds, a don quixote for souvenirs and bars (which we did not go to). Green space / parks were close by but not that close. The coin laundry was under renovation when we were there so hopefully is in operation now. That's it!

Great money for value, close to everything as well. A very convenient place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff were unhelpful and rude on the several occasions we interacted with them. Never responded to any of my messages ahead of check-in Asked them to reserve a restaurant for me because I don't speak Japanese and they refused to because the reservation was for the day of check out (they would reserve a restaurant had it been for a day before!!). We were slightly delayed on checking out, and they called the room threatening to charge us if we were not out of the room in ten minutes. If they have such a strict policy they should make it clear at check in, there was obviously no mention. We will never come back here.

Small rooms that are dated and are pretty dusty. Decor is tacky and feels like a fever dream at times. Nice staff tho.

In a quieter area in Tokyo. Facilities of the hotel are great. Wish the room was bigger and bathrooms were more modern.

This hotel was chosen for its location. Roppongi area is a lot of fun, but best enjoyed if you are in a high tax bracket. The best bar in Tokyo is three blocks away (Mogambo), but surrounding it are many other nearly as good establishments. You can also hit many of the top destinations in Tokyo with one train ride, max two from the nearby Roppongi station. The main issues I had are as follows: the bathroom is very tiny, and the bathtub has unusually high walls, making stepping in difficult. Another problem is that there is no light in the bathroom if you don't put the room key into the slot by the room entrance, so if you are in a hurry, then you have to do it in the dark, with all the problems that entails. Another issue is that the signage in the elevator is not well lit, and so low down and dark it is hard to read. I did attach a picture so you can memorize it because it is nearly impossible read without a flashlight illuminating it. Reading it is important, since the lobby is on the third floor, but you will want to use the second floor if you have luggage to enter the hotel. The first floor sends you to the back of the hotel. It took a day to get used to that. Better signage for these floors in elevator please. Another issue is the lighting for the outside stairs leading to the third floor. At night, the stairs have lights, but only on the back inch or two, so you cannot easily tell when the front of each step is. Also, spring in shampoo bottle too slow.

Hotel service and amenities were fantastic. Breakfast has variety of Japanese and western style food. Short walk to train station. Skyspa has indoor and outdoor hot tub with steam room. It was kept super clean. We can see the Tokyo tower from our room. Toothbrush with toothpaste, pajamas, and slippers, and water were provided. Overall excellent stay. Highly recommended. Make sure you go to the correct Candeo Hotel. There are several Candeo hotels in Tokyo.

The rooftop spa and on sen was amazing.

Everything was fine except that one of the front desk staff, a non-Japanese male receptionist was not very hospitable at all. Normally I have a very good experience at Candeo Hotels chain but he was surprisingly not friendly.

First and foremost, everyone need to recognise that hotel rooms in Tokyo are small. So do take note. I booked this room for 3 people. Staff are exceptional friendly and accommodating. Room is clean and amenities are well provided for - body soap, shampoo, conditioner and toiletries. Space-wise, it was a bit tight with 3 people and 3 luggages but manageable. They have a separate spa for both men & women which was nice. FamilyMart was nearby and train station was just a short 3 minutes walk. Definitely a great hotel to stay in despite the size of the room.

The Hotel's onsen is a plus, however, the rooms look tired and the service is not great.

It was really easy going around and the neighborhood was very cute with many restaurants nearby and several convenient stores. Check in, check out was super smooth and the front desk agent helped us get a cab to the airport. The hotel sauna was a big plus! We really Enjoyed our stay. Thank u for a good service.

Amazing place to stay. We’ve been there for 3 nights, the room was small but comfy. Mattress was a bit hard but it seems like the norm in Japan. The sky spa was relaxing and the tattooed persons were allowed which was great. There are coin laundry machines but expect them to be used all the time.

Very clean. Top floor baths were lovely. Great breakfast.

Place needs upgrading and renovating. Added amenities like free coffee in the lobby would be a nice touch. I will most likely not be staying there again while in Tokyo.

Great location. There are plenty of dining option around. The hotel stuff are friendly and helpful. I hope there’s a lost&found section though.

Easy find

Ton’s of food, drink, an easy transportation access.

Rooms were a bit small as usually in Tokyo but you get used to that. Nice view from the window couch. Great beds. Very close to the subway exit. Fantastic onsen which is so nice late at night after a long day in the city. Breakfast was ok (mostly a delicious Japanese selection but we love that, but not much fresh fruit). Staff was really friendly and very helpful. The only thing we didn’t like was the repeating music during breakfast and in the lobby: in a cycle of 10 minutes they only play 2 songs of which one is a groovy jazz number working on the nerves every 5 out of 10 minutes. Otherwise we loved our stay.

A bit of a walk from the JR line. Requires a couple of transfers from the main train stations.

The location is good, it is easy to travel around. The staff is friendly and helpful. The most wonderful part is the free hot spa in the hotel.
