Upon arrival we were told, "You two couples are staying in another hotel down the road for two nights, it's not a problem". As a party of three couples, who had carefully selected this hotel for a five night skiing holiday, we were most upset. No kind of apology was forthcoming from the owners, we were simply told, "It's only for two nights, it's not a problem". The alternative accommodation was vastly inferior, and we refused to accept this. So, the two couples booked themselves into a suitable standard hotel, which was eventually paid for by the owners, after we had demanded compensation for the dreadful start to our holiday. Such a shame, since the hotel is lovely, and immaculately presented. The owners need to learn some manners.

Excellant place and very handily positioned being next to the pedestrian bridge.

The hotel is well placed to explore Bormio and has dedicated parking outside which was very nice. The hotel seems to have been refurbished to a high standard as many of the fittings in the breakfast area seemed very new. The food for breakfast was excellent with a good selection of meats, cheese and pastries. The staff would also cook eggs to order if required.The room was a nice size and the bathroom area had modern fittings with a good powerful shower. The only thing that was a little odd was that although the windows had mesh net curtains, the material curtains did not close as they were only for show and about 30cm wide? This meant that the morning light came straight in to the room at sunrise. Also I would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room.Apart from that the stay was very pleasant and I would recommend it if staying in Bormio.

My wife and I stayed in early August of 2018 with cycling as our main reason to visit Bormio. The hotel is very accommodating, with an excellent location, close to the main walking area of Bormio, and an excellent bike storage room and tasty breakfast. Our room was neat and clean but faced a very busy alley which made it virtually impossible to keep our windows open at night and made the room uncomfortably warm during some unseasonably warm weather. It would have helped to have a fan for some circulation, but none was available. I expect rooms on the “quiet” side of the hotel would be great. The only other comment my wife and I would have is that while at times the staff was friendly and welcoming, there were some inconsistencies that could be improved upon. Overall, if we were able to guarantee a quieter room, we would stay again.

Great stay, nice hotel. Friendly staff (owner) carried bags up to room. Clean, modern room with nice bathroom & good fittings. Door opened onto tiny sun balcony, shutters for quiet and airing the room at night. Bike / ski room, with pumps and work stand. Laundry service offered, with line dry indoors if you preferred. Generous varied breakfast. Great location for cycling, centre of town for restaurants and shops. Twin bed room, so helped myself to the other pillow!

Small, but confortable 3 stars hotel just around the city center. Excellent position with private parking
