I had to tape the gap in the window/ frame to help keep the cold draft out. Had to beg for clothes hangers. They gave 3 after 3 days of requests. Very noisy location right next to bus terminal. They put us in a room on the noisy side when the hotel was almost empty. They want too much information just to join the WiFi that stops after 3 days. Good hot water, staff friendly, good bed, sheets and blankets. The shower does not drain fast enough because the floor is sloped away from the drain so it runs out onto the bathroom floor. The place was okay for nightly rate.

Location for the bus station is very convenient, practically next door. Room was nice, good shower, friendly staff, and plenty of options for breakfast.

Godo location

The Ibis hotel is adjacent to the bus terminal in Puerto Montt, so there is easy access to shops and food vendors. There is a parking garage underneath the hotel, and a supermarket can be accessed via the garage. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable, with a view of the lake and mountains. Amenities included a TV, desk, storage shelves, towel, soap, shampoo and a rain-shower head in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. A restaurant on the 3rd floor provides breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The daily special was a pork chop with potatoes, both of which were prepared well and delicious. Helpful staff in the restaurant and at the front desk speak English. They provided assistance by explaining how to use the voucher for the underground parking. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Convenient location if using the bus. However, property is somewhat run down. You get what you pay for though IMHO.

We travelled to the lake district and stayed in Puerto Montt as well. The hotel has a great location on the ocean next to a park and walking distance to some great eating and shops. The rooms look out over the ocean ands were immaculate. There is parking and shops beneath the hotel. While there, definitely go to the fish market for a truly fresh seafood meal while watching sea lions cavort in the water below you.

Typical Ibis property. Everything was usual. Location was great, actually. Food was decent and staff was very friendly and efficient. One thing that never changes for me is that I hate the bathrooms in these hotels. The showers are the worst! And the doors never work properly on the shower. But they're cheap, so I put up with it.

Nice location, you always can expect clean, reasonably comfortable accommodations with Ibis & this was no exception. Added bonus of nice view.

There was nothing that advised me to bring my passport or else pay an additional $15 in local taxes. I had another form of ID that was denied and I was wrongly charged the local tax just because I had the wrong form of ID. This should be made clear when booking and it was not - this needs to change. Customer service is very poor in Chile in general, but I found the staff to be exceptionally rude and unaccommodating in this matter. The rooms are beginning to look dated.
