Quite surprised this is a 4* hotel. The rooms were really cheap and there was a weird smell in our bathroom. Breakfast was not much to have, some sweets and yoghurt. The location of the hotel was great. But there are cheaper 3* alternatives around the area with better standards.

The Hotel was exactly like the pictures, amazing view and the staff are so friendly and helpful with every question you have! We couldn’t of picked a better place to stay, the location was perfect.. a 2 minute walk to the train station and 12 minute train to Sorrento! Vico Equense is perfect as it’s away from the crowds in Sorrento so you get less of a ‘ tourist ‘ experience but still plenty to do:) Would recommend to anyone!

Smooth checkin, decent property

The Location of Hotel Aequa was very good, in the heart of Vico Equense, close to train Station, and the room was very clean, also, their Buffet breakfast was excellent and their staff were very polite, friendly and helpful especially their receptionist , Jackomo, Augostinos and Leonardo. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights, and it was very comfortable. The staff was courteous and professional, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet and clean. Breakfast has a wide variety of delicious options. The pool is great but closes too early. Would be nice to swim after sightseeing all day, or sit out there in the evening. In spite of the short pool hours, I would stay again. Very beautiful hotel!

Hotel Aequa was beautiful- old world charm. Service was excellent Leonardo and Augustino and staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us arrange private tours to see sites on the Amalfi Coast. Food was superb. Rooms were a little on the older side, but clean and hotel was well kept. Our room had two terraces with an awesome view of the Bay of Napoli and Mount Vesuvius. The grounds were gorgeous. Can’t wait to come back again!

Dominic in particular made considerable effort in terms of helping us with our Italian, giving us some amazing recommendations of local eating places plus some ideas for visiting places around the local area with his great inside knowledge. The hotel pool is fantastic the surrounding areas are beautiful the gardens, the balcony area overlooking the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius in the background is outstanding. All of the hotel staff could not have been more helpful, were hugely attentive and delivered fantastic customer service . We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was a very regal lady who explained the hotel had been passed down the generations throughout her family. She talked always of her home being opened to the public and people coming to stay at her home, we felt very much at home in this beautiful place. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the railway station and bus station links, easy access to Vico Equense Centre. A couple of minutes walk as you to the beaches, to the town, to some fantastic restaurants and a beautiful square with a Fountain and alfresco dining. The hotel was great value for money with a wide selection of local and typical breakfast items. The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated with some stunning artwork and beautiful local tile work pictures.With easy access, parking and simple travel connections we would definitely recommend it

Parking is under the hotel which is great but very difficult to park due to space and columns. Hotel had a musty smell on our floor. Only dinning option was a 3 course meal for 35 euro per person so you have to go out to eat. There was breakfast included but fairly basic. The pool was a great size and we did discover that you could get some cheaper food by the pool which was good. So pool was a good experience. Sea view from the rooms was a little distant from the sea really and at an angle. Staff nice though. Probably will try a different hotel next time.

Sure, I did see a few negative ones and don’t really mind them because I can overlook the small details. The room that was given to us was nothing like the pictures. When we entered our room, everything looked old including the furniture. It was just the view that was amazing. I actually downstairs and showed them a picture of what we were expecting and it was nowhere near like the picture. He explained that the room shown in the pictures is one of the most refurbished ones. Keep in mind there is a possibility you might not get what you see in the pictures. Also, they can do better with breakfast. But location was amazing!

The hotel was fine for a one night stay near Sorrento. The room was clean, but small. The bed was comfy. Good value priced hotel. A variety of places to eat within walking distance. The view was fantastic! Parking is a nightmare in a very tight underground garage!

Weve just had a week at the Hotel Aequa and were very impressed by the location, friendliness of the staff, and the facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean, the staff were helpful and efficient, and we were made to feel very welcome. The pool was excellent, with plenty of sunbeds and good food/drink service, and the views from the terraces and our room were simply gorgeous. Silent air-conditioning too! Vico Equense is a quaint little town, with excellent transport links and stunning views across to Naples and Vesuvius. We were within steps of two very good restaurants and found the food and service excellent there too.Would recommend.

We loved our stay at this spacious hotel. The pool was wonderful. The area has many restaurants nearby. The rooms are large and accommodated our family of 5 very nicely. Beautiful decor and the breakfast was fresh with lots of choices. Would enjoy staying here again.

The personal touches at this hotel are wonderful. Hard to find good service anymore and the staff here did just that!

The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning! There was a nice size swimming pool that was also beautiful. The breakfast was good. Our room was very nice. The parking was absolutely terrible! The people at the front desk could be a little more friendly. Overall; it was quite a lovely stay.

Hotel in central Vico Equense, by railway for Sorento, Pompei and Naples. Good pool to relax by.

Lovely hotel, great location. Staff very helpful, cheerful amd speak excellent English. Excursions can be arranged. Pool is huge, peaceful with pretty gardens.

The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, close to the train station and good local restaurants. Vico Equense is a lovely place and ideal for exploring nearby areas such as Sorrento, Amalfi and Pompei. My room was pretty dated but clean and the pool is lovely.

No wifi in bedroom was biggest inconvenience.. Furniture in bedroom old and worn. Towels and bed linen good. Good pool. Helpful and obliging staff.
