We were in Hamburg to see Minatur Wonderland, and this hotel is walking distance away. Turned out to such an amazing, quirky, enjoyable place. The staff is great, all speak fluent English. The morning breakfast is awesome, they have a huge theater where we watched the Olympics every night, a cool rooftop bar area and throughout the building these little vignette model scenes literally built into the walls. There's a whole area of stores and restaurants literally next door, bus stop right out front and walking distance to the train. But this is what we will take away from our stay at the Pierdrei. At 430am on our 3rd night, the fire alarm with off. We could smell smoke, my kid was terrified as we all ran out. Someone from the hotel came out to talk to us and keep us informed I told my wife "He looks JUST LIKE the guy from the Wunderland." It was. It was Fredrick. (The brothers are part owners.) At *5am*, making sure we all were ok.(It was a fire in the ceiling above the theater.) When we checked out a couple days later, there was a toy truck from Minatur Wonderland waiting for my kid. "Freddy wanted all the kids who went through that to have something because it was so scary." I hope to get back to Hamburg a couple more times in my life and I will always stay here when I do.

Good hotel. It was a perfect location for exploring the HafenCity area.

A quick visit to Hamburg. The hotel is modern and quiet. Close to the Wunderland which we visited. Very good explanantion before we arrived how and where to park ur car.

Great location close to the shops but not quite yet there are places to eat and shop nearby.

Nice hotel in a cool area of Hamburg. Room was spacious and modern with everything you needed including bar and restaurant on site. Everything was spotless and staff were friendly and helpful. If you're out later at night be careful as the U4 finishes quite early..

Like the last time we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

A really superior Hotel!

Very good and convenient location

Clean, good hotel for pets, spacious room, parking garage close by.

The hotel part was excellent: very good and serviceminded Staff at the reception. However the restaurant and bar part on the hotel premises is disfunctional. We arrived around 1900 on a Sunday after a very long drive - waited and afsked for service in the bar but left after having waited for service for app 20 minutes. Found a nearby pizzaria where we could eat. Same Monday morning where we wanted to have breakfast - this time a lady at the counter to the restaurant area told us that the expected waiting time would be between 30 minutes to 1 hour ! Again we had to leave the Hotel premises. Fortunately there are a lot of good places where it is possible to buy and eat food in close vicinity of the hotel.

Funky lobby, attracts lots of hipsters. Friendly & attentive front staff. Well planned room, except for the carpet floors & no USB sockets but great storage. Doors are very loud though.

A modern hotel in the trendy district Hafencity. The location is very good and it’s not far to walk to the citycenter and townhall. We had tickets to the Elbsynphonie, conserthall, just a short walk away. The stay was quite expensive but consider the location. Convenient with the parking under the hotel, 13 € per night.

It is a most unique ( in a wonderful way) Defibed Orel. Close to the Concert Hall .. Maritime Museum & the Sea

Hotel response via expedia chat is fast especially when we are trying to find our way to hotel. Hotel is 2 bus stops away from Hamberg HBF, however when travelling back to main station,, the vus stop just in front of hotel so is convenient

Interesting design

Pierdrei Hotel is a wonderful and reasonably priced place to stay in Hamburg! The staff at the front desk were unfailingly helpful and knowledgeable. The food in the bar was delicious. The room was clean and well-appointed, simple and somewhat small but everything I needed. The hotel felt very contemporary without sacrificing coziness to its cool aesthetic. The location is excellent, an easy walk to the Maritime Museum, Miniatur Wonderland, and the Elbpharmonie. Also there's an easy-to-use bus stop on Singapurstrasse right in front of the hotel, which made it easy to travel to/from the airport and train station. Highly recommend!

The hotel was very modern and the room well set up for young children, the bathroom was large enough with a separate toilet. Even though car parking was included and was secure we had to pay a reduced rate which was unexpected.

Cuteness, room being cozy at the same time ingeniously efficient in use of space Location is very good for walking down to the waterfront and close to the hub of the city

Design and location

The restaurant of this hotel must be visited. It is amazingly decorated. No shopping facilities nearby the hotel. Other item like cleanliness, attention of the staff and comfort are really fabulous.
