Breakfast was disappointing. No fresh bread, only slices from a plastic bag. Also, the pillows should be renewed.

Cute stay with hot spring! We enjoyed our one night stay it was comfortable and quiet. We had to leave before the complimentary breakfast

It was a nice stay for one evening on the ring road itinerary. Midges were excessive but that was no fault to the guesthouse. Unfortunately because of the midges we couldn’t open the window for some fresh air. Would definitely be nice to have a fan in the room for a little air circulation during midge season

Spacious bedroom. The guesthouse has 3 different buildings. Breakfast is included which was not listed when we booked so we appreciated it. Only downside, the plates and glasses on the bedroom were not clean so we had to clean them before having our dinner picnic.

Very pretty and clean room on a beautiful location. Peacefull and quiet. Check in and out super fast and easy. Easy to reach the hosts. Beds comfortable. Nice breakfast. Plenty of parking. Surounded by greenery. Nothing but fresh air. Would stay there again for sure.

We absolutely loved our short stay in Storu-Laugar: location, breakfasts, sunset views, horses and the overall value. If we have a chance we'll be back!

Cozy accommodations. Room was small and simple but comfortable. Booked a room with a private bathroom. Room had an electric kettle and instant coffee and some tea. Breakfast buffet is available by reception in the morning and it’s pretty tasty. Cereal, toast, eggs, fruit, etc. Would certainly consider staying here again.

We had reserved 3 rooms, all having a single king bed (because that was the only option online). Two of our party needed individual beds, and the proprietress gave them the option of another room. All 3 rooms had mountain views (and the views were astounding). They had a spa that looked like it was fashioned out of a concrete horse trough, and it was marvelous. Breakfast was also excellent.

Loved this place, one of the best stops in Iceland, host was very hospitable, made us sandwiches as we arrived after kitchen closed.

We recommend this guesthouse for your stay in the northern part of Iceland. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Location of the guesthouse is excellent, many interesting places in this part of Iceland are close and easy to be reached by car (waterfalls Goðafoss, Mývatn, Akureyri etc.). Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was lovely and clean. The hot tub was a great temperature and it looked over the beautiful landscape. We were able to buy wine in the lobby and the breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning.

This is a lovely place to stay. The service is great, the room is large and the bed is comfortable with amazing duvets. The breakfast is the best we’ve ever had in Iceland and the kitchen staff are hard working and sweet. This area is rural and quiet with a very nice view.

Very clean. Friendly staff. They really make sure that we are satisfied with the guesthouse. Breakfast is good. Nice view, especially on a sunny day. As with other places in that area, the flies are pretty annoying. May be the staff can spray the property regularly with flies repellent so that staying there will be much nicer.

Fanatic location. Great shower and beds. Horses right out side our room. Breakfast included warm food not just continental. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place 15 minutes from Godafoss.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location was excellent, very close to attractions. And so peaceful and relaxing. Great on site hot tub and breakfast.

This place is som much nicer than you expect from photos. Rooms and beds Are excellent. The breakfast is also really Nice.
