Although the place is dated, it was very clean and comfortable, and the best part was it was a great value.

Just there for one night. Room was clean and comfortable. I had reserved two rooms but when I checked in she only had a record for one and no other empty spaces. I was in the parking lot kind of grumpy and looked for another place on my phone and she burst out of the office to say she found a listing from the same area code and realized it was my phone number but with another persons name. I forgot that I had reserved the second room under my friends name so there were actually two rooms reserved. The mix up was totally my fault but she was a great detective and figured it out and saved us from finding a different hotel. Kudos to that young lady. Very pleased!

I wasn’t expecting a motel style experience with a lobby I needed to be buzzed into. But it was clean and conveniently located in Helena’s downtown area. It was nicer than I expected from my initial impression.

Room wasnt clean, but at least the bed was. Just needed a place to crash, atleast it was decent for that. Beds werent super comfy but the clean white sheets made it nice. The tv didn't work and neither did the wifi. Room came with soaps, 2x shampoo but not conditioner. Fridge and microwave.

It was a sketchy neighborhood. A run down suite. We were checked in for 2 hours before I was bitten by a bedbug. The service was great. She immediately gave me a refund, and we headed out.

The hotel is old, rundown, and poorly maintained. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke. The area has a significant homeless population.

Very cool old motel. Bit of a rough neighborhood with many in transition and homelessness around the area.
But the lighting and property was well-maintained we felt safe staying here.
Toilet flapper was broken, and the water ran all night, I bent down and turned the water off at the wall to help with waste, but this will need to get fixed right away, which I told staff.
Their lobby is filled with political ideologies and views that do not lineup with mine, or I feel are good for kids which I need to share , but all staff were very helpful.

I honestly was expecting a half clean room or worse based on the immediate look, but was pleasantly surprised by how clean my room was! No dust, no ring around the toilet and fresh bedding. They can definitely use a remodel, but everything else was great. Awesome staff as well! Would absolutely stay again!

Im not a fussy person when it comes to decor. Budget friendly usually means old and a bit run-down so I had no problem with the looks - however the smell was a huge problem. There must be a mold issue or something - the room smelled terrible! There were obvious signs of water damage in the ceiling and this is why I suspect mold as the root cause of the smell. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure was fantastic. I couldn't wait to leave and leave that smell behind though!

The location is great to walk the gulch area with all its shops, restaurants and stores. The hotel had multiple men standing outside smoking. It didn’t feel safe. You get what you pay for. The woman who checked us in was great. No one was there at check out.

Everyone there was on so many drugs and there were literal drug deals in the parking lot in broad daylight. It was disgusting. Didn’t even end up staying there and I felt so unsafe and gross.

I stayed one night. Room was quiet. Area around the motel appeared to be safe and quiet. The room was dark (not enough lamps or overhead lights). The rug was dark, needs changed. The bathroom needed work. No stoppers for the sink or tub. The cold water handle for the sink spins around 360 degrees; you get to guess where ‘off’ is. And my pet peeve, the bathroom exhaust fan is ganged to the light switch, no way to turn the fan off if you want light in the bathroom. The fan was a pre-WWII model, sounded like a propeller plane taking off. However, the room was not expensive, so it’s a good value in a very expensive (in August) town.
