Great stay at Home2 Suites in Statesboro. Great customer service from the staff. We will definitely be back when we visit our son.

I truly enjoyed our visit at the hotel. I was also surprised to find that we had a full size fridge in the unit, which helped during the exceptionally hot days that week. I was most impressed with the daily breakfasts. I took advantage of those every day. I was also pleased to discover that there were Urgent Cares and small dineries on Brampton just down the street. The Mellow Mushroom had calzones I haven't found anywhere!

This has been a nice stay. Everyone here was very welcoming. The bed was nice a soft and the breakfast was wonderful!

I reserved online. When I got to the property and got my key went to my room 331 it was already occupied. So I went back to the front desk and kadijah gave me a new room and key. But I think the shift before her should have completed their job in making sure all rooms was clean. It was very uncomfortable to walk in a room and someone else is in there. They need to do better with the amount of money people are spending for it to be an inconvenience.

The elevator and hallway was very dirty and smelled bad our entire stay. Staff at check not very friendly. Staff at check in ver my friendly.

We were disappoi.ted with the breakfast, egg muffi s were hard, and selection was minimal. We we would ha e preferred scrambled Eggs,.sausage or bacon, grits amd biscuits vs.the ones made up in the warmer They also need another waffle iron. Coffee had a strange taste Odors in the elevator loved the kitchen

Front desk staff was lovely

Camellia checked us in and was also there the morning we left. I'd be hard pressed to find another in the service industry that could match her customer service skills. Her personality was off the charts good. She made our day just through our brief interaction with her. Kind, warm, engaging. The room was great along with the property. Great stay.

Affordable and clean

The room was very convenient and spacious. The young lady at the front desk was very cheerful and extremely nice.

Our room was clean and comfortable. I felt that bottled water was priced extremely expensive at the front desk as I only needed it to make formula. Overall, we had a great stay but the water was priced considerably high.

Very nice stay the food was really good in the morning The room was very nice and bed was comfortable I will stay again in the future.

The stsy was good,but first night had to call front desk twice to have the people next door to stop bring so loud and partying. Overall nice clean room and friendly staff. Next maybe scrambled eggs lol, the omelet was good. And I get a goid discount on our stay. I would recommend staying at here if you ate staying 2 or more days.

The property appears to be a bit run down and not as well-maintained as it used to be. There is an odd smell as you exit the elevator. The bathroom and bed could use some updating, and the pillows were quite flat.

While we were only at the property for one night we were sorely disappointed in the condition of the property. First, the elevators smelled horrible and when we exited the elevators on the 6th floor the trash cans were not only full but reeked of old trash. As we went down the hallway to our room the air was full of marijuana. This was on our way to our room, after we left our room and when we returned later in the day. The shower corners were filthy and the shower heads were not clean as well as they had a terrible water flow. The kitchen sink would only drain the water with the garbage disposal on and the dishwasher was as well dirty on the outside. We stay at Home2 Suites often and this stay was the absolute worst. We really should have requested a refund but we were staying in the area for only one night and did not want the hassle of trying to find another room.

Upon arrival there was a strong unpleasant smell. Floor had not been vacuumed recently. I was given my key at checkin, mistakenly went to 221 instead of 222 and was shocked with the condition of the room. My mistake going to wrong room. went back up to rm 222. Room was fairly clean but smelled like a skunk. Researched the area for another hotel room but all were booked due to Georgia Southern Graduation. We were there for a funeral. We will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone. Carol

It was a great place to stay

Not the typical Home 2. Very loud & not very clean. When you feel like you’re bothering the front desk when you check in that’s a sign.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast waffles were fantastic. Beds were comfortable but pillows could be better.

On the day of our check in, we arrived at the hotel at 5 PM, for a check-in that was supposed to be 3 PM. Upon arriving the Front desk clerk told us that they were short staffed, and that our room was not ready. I told her not to worry and that we would return later that evening because we had to go to a sorority event with our daughter. She checked me in and gave me the room key so that I wouldn’t have to go through checking in later that evening and we left. We returned to the hotel at 1:30AM and went up to our room only to have the room key not work. I went down to the front desk clerk and told her our key wasn’t working and she scanned it again and told us we should be good. I went back up, and again, the card was not working. I went back downstairs frustrated and told her that the key was not working. She scanned it one more time and once again, the key did not work. Now very annnoyed, I went down and told her that it still wasn’t working. She checked her system and said that they gave our room to someone else and gave me a key for another room. I got our new keys, went upstairs, and walked into a filthy room. It smelled like food because there was food trash all over the kitchen and dirty Tupperware, there were pillows thrown on the couch, and no linens on the bed. I went down furious and told her & her response Was sorry we don’t have clean rooms but you’re welcome to go to the Holiday Inn up the road. I have NEVER had such an experience & won’t ever reserve here.

Tried to check in to my room at 6:25pm. Room was not ready. (Check in time is 3pm). After waiting 45 minutes, room was still not ready. Was told one housekeeper had walked out on the job so it would be 30 more minutes. I had an event to attend and could not wait any longer. I had to leave a find another room, which ended up costing me an additional $75. Would not recommend this location

The bathroom in our room reeked of cigarette smoke!

Staff was excellent. Very nice and clean. Breakfast was easy to handle.

Very freindly staff. Large rooms in excellent condition with all the convenience of a full kitchen minus the stove. The breakfast was not good. Did not like all those pre-made, frozen breakfast sandwhiches.

The Home2Suites in Statesboro is a very nice, clean and great area for shopping and dining. The staff treated us very well and we had no issues or complaints about the room or any of the facilities. Also, the breakfast was very enjoyable and had a nice variety of both hot and cold foods. Definitely worth the price.
