Beautiful home conversion that was quiet and peaceful. If visiting Quito will definitely stay here.

This place is very convenient for people that need to travel, it’s close to the airport, very quite, peaceful and the staff very friendly and helpful, very welcoming, thank you for everything. They pick you up and take you to the airport of course you have to pay but it’s safe to do this way.

Second time staying here and it was a great stay. Well looked after by this charming family. Very convenient as well, being so close to the airport. Forget about the big chain hotel and enjoy the Ecuadorian hospitality!

We were greeted with a warm welcome. Everything was done to make us feel at home. Shuttles to and from the airport were arranged and on our return trip a delicious dinner was served for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this place!

It is a family run business including taxi pick up and drop off at the airport which is very nice and comforting. As I entered the premises I was truly impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the establishment. My room was clean and comfortable as well. Very nice place to stay near the airport. If I travel through Quito again that is definitely my place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for clean, comfortable and inexpensive place while passing through Quito. Elizabeth is one amazing hostess. Thank you for pleasant stay.

I stayed there for fours only. I slept well enough; the room was very confortable and clean. The place is relatively close to the UIO airport, I reached it in lest than 10 mins. I recommend staying there.

This is a cute property located behind a solid gate. There is a restaurant on site, and they will arrange transportation to the airport which was $9 one way for us. The rooms are clean although we couldn't open the window because it was missing the screen and we didn't want bugs in our room. It was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

It’s a nice and clean place. The people managed it are very nice. I appreciate their airport transportation very much (paid but very reliable). However, the place is off a busy highway so it’s quiet noisy.

This is a family owned property. The entire family was accommodating and exceptionally friendly. We had no wants while there. They coordinated our transportation to and from the airport and what a relief..I would love to stay there again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We arrived late in the evening (10pm), we were collected straight from the airport (greeted with a card with our name on in arrivals) for $10 and felt safe the whole time. Accommodation is just a short 10 min journey. Family run and everyone was really lovely, gave us plenty of advice on Quito. Room was really spacious and nice. Very clean too. Breakfast was excellent, mixture of eggs, breads and fruits, freshly made for you. We then departed for our flight in the morning. Overall fantastic stay and we’ll be staying again on our layover back through Quito.

This is a great spot to stay near the airport. It is close by and the owner is such a nice and helpful person. I'd way rather stay here than in some generic hotel for 3x the price.

This is a wonderful property with a gorgeous setting 10 minutes from the Airport. It is small with only 6-7 rooms but is very quiet and one an get a good nights sleep. The host/hostess were very attentive and only happy to help with questions. The arranged a car for me to pick up my sister at the Airport when she arrived and he was very helpful. We had breakfast there in the morning and it was good with eggs, breads, cheese, juice and coffee. It is a wonderful atmosphere and I would recommend it for travelers arriving and leaving on flights. Good clean rooms and a wonderful bathroom with rain shower. Beds were super comfortable.We enjoyed our stay immensely.

We only stayed here a few hours, as we arrived late and departed early, but Las Hortencias was perfect. They were so easy to communicate with and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the linens were wonderful- such soft sheets! I highly recommend if you need a place to stay close to the airport.

Our only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time getting to know the owners. They were two of the nicest people we've ever met. If you have a layover or arrive late and are in transit elsewhere, this place is absolutely perfect. Only about 10 minutes from the airport. Or if you want a place outside of the chaos of Quito, great for that as well. And the outdoor cats were a nice surprise. Shakira was especially playful.
