The Hotel is located in a good area with plenty of restaurants and night life within walking distance (2-5min). I was however disappointed with the fact that the central heating was so warm. The room I had does not allow one to adjust the temperature to your personal preference, this caused the room to be very warm which made it difficult to sleep. I complained about this at reception and all they said is that it is central heating and cannot be adjusted. The WiFi also does not work in the room and this forces you to go downstairs every time to check messages on your phone and do work on your laptop. Both these issues should be standard requirements for guests to make your stay enjoyable!

We really love this hotel. We stayed in the economy room. Breakfast was great. The room was very clean, very good location. Cafes , bars and restaurants at walking distance from the hotel. I am thinking of coming again with my family

The staff are super friendly and the room had sufficient amenities. It’s on a busy street so it can get loud, but it’s the best hotel in the neighborhood

Very beautiful. Staff very nice. Only one lift serving the hotel and I was on the 7th floor. So had to wait at least 4-5 minutes each time i used it. Otherwise everything was very good. Good value for money.

Absolutely frustrating. I selected a hotel that said it had none smoking rooms. We had smoke filled hallways and could smell smoke the entire night and morning in our room. We had to sleep with the window open and both woke up sick.

I enjoyed my stay at Grand Silay Hotel (10 days in total). Location of the hotel is at the heart of downtown Ankara; close to restaurants, shopping areas, many government offices and transportation hubs (for bus and subway transportation). Hence, I had easy access to all these and was able to conduct my business effectively. The staff is respectful, kind and helpful. In the beginning there were a few WI-FI issues, but upon my call to the main office, they sent a technician to solve the problem immediately. The room was being cleaned everyday spotlessly by very courteous cleaning staff. The breakfast room is clean and one can have a variety of options (from classical Turkish breakfast to continental breakfast). I'd recomment this hotel anyone without any reservations.

I didn't like the bathroom .it's too small to fit one adult .

Location is nice and the stuff Is very friendly. My room was big but the beds sheet wasn’t clean, it had so much hair☹️ Also, I was annoyed by the noises from another rooms, like if someone locks her door or take a shower or even sneeze- you would literally hear everything

The staff helped my mother-in-law from out of the country get settled and connected to WiFi and made sure she had a nice stay. She was using a wheelchair at the time and the hotel was very accommodating for her needs. They also worked closely with me to add nights to her stay while I was still in the United States.

Especially the receptionist kubra is very helpful.

Everything was good...............................

Hotel is in the live city centre. Problem with parking is sorted by hotel by valet parking. However this is all positives we got. The negatives where: no english level at all. Receptionist hardly understood us. One towel only given. We have called the reception about it, however they appeared only 2 hours later, when we where sleeping already, asked for it the next day, however we have not got it eventually at all. I assume this is an Ok business hotel for the locals, however not as much for tourists.

No Airconditioning throughout our stay.
