I am an insurance adjuster and I was covering Hurricane Beryl. I spent my first couple weeks in the area at an extended stay America in Sugarland, which was pretty much trash. This Woodsprings was close to my claims, so I called them and asked if I could take a tour. They showed me the rooms, and although they were a little bit less money than the one I was at, they were 100 times better. Everything is in good shape and kept up. Every day after working I would walk into the room and I would be so thankful that I was in a nice, clean, well-kept place that didn't cost much.

The air conditioner didnt keep the room temperature cool. At 65 it felt more like 72. The hall way was cooler than the room and the elevator was the hottest area and smelled like an ash tray.

NO toiletries, mold underneath ALL wood furniture/inside cabinet doors, entire apartment smelled like mold the entire time. Not safe/healthy. Stay elsewhere :(

Very clean facility and the staff is very courteous! I stay here at least once a week due to work. Don’t let the price fool you it is very clean which is the main reason I come back.

Not very welcoming. We checked out before our Check out time…. I paid so much money for this room and turned out I had to pay even more for the WiFi smh the elevators SMELLED so horrible I couldn’t eat literally because of the smell from the elevator had my stomach hurting so bad….. 2 out 10 NEVER AGAIN

Service desk was courteous and check in was fast. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable but could've used another pillow or 2 as they are very small. Bathroom was spacious and very clean, but ask for another soap. Only got one for 2 persons to wash hands and shower. There was no breakfast items, but not a concern for us. This is a no frills hotel, but would definately stay there again if in town.

This property is a long-term stay so not a 24-hr front desk. No way to get back in if you forget your key card, or for guests to get in, etc. The person who is supposed to answer the phone doesn't. People wait at the door hoping someone with a key will come along and let them in. (Of course, could be anyone off the street, not a resident, and nobody monitors). Hotel is OK but be aware of these limitations.

I checked in our handicap room and discovered it had dirty beds that had been slept in and messed up. The room stunk too. They didnt have any other handicap rooms unless we accepted 2 different rooms because they only had 1 bed in each room. My mom who was having surgery super early the next morning cannot be left by herself as she is very limited in what she can do on her own. We had to take a non handicap room on the 3rd floor. Now keep in mind if there is a fire we have to use the stairs and my mom is confined to a wheelchair. The whole experience was awful and the manager there didnt offer us any helpful reimbursement options but told us "It happens from time to time". Um What!?!

Elevators didn’t work and staff put me on the 3 rd floor with a baby and 4 year old. Would not do anything to accommodate me (no lower floor room, refund, etc. I will not be staying here again

OK its a budget hotel, I get that part. The only amenity - the instant coffee machine was out of order @ 7:30a. No biggy. Desk closed, roll-up door down and locked. Which brings up the primary problem: idiot next door blasting TV all night. No phone in room to call next door and say, "turn it down" and desk totally closed so no help from "office". Two hours sleep = 2 generous stars.

I AM BEYOND PISSED OFF. THERE IS NO HEAT AND THE STAFF IS BLALANTLY SHOWING THEY DON’T GIVE A DAMN. AND WHAT HOTEL DON’T HAVE DRAPES ON THE WINDOWS?! MAYBE IF THERE ARE DRAPES THEN IT WOULDN’T BE SO DAMN COLD IN THE ROOM!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY AT THIS HOTEL AND WILL DEFINITELY BE SPEAKING WITH CITY OFFICIALS OF LAKE JACKSON ON HOW THIS HOTEL IS BEING OPERATED!!

The hotel was ok. They only give you one key card. You can only hook up on device to there Internet if anymore you will be charged for it. You also have to pay $30 for there pots and $20 for there dishes so bring your own things to cook with. The coffee is horrible and they don't have any creamer the whole 2 days we were there. It's not a good hotel for the price they charge. No breakfast nothing. I wouldn't recommend. The so called sofa is a twin bed couch and charge you more for that. Not worth it

The property check in was very simple. Their security features were very convenient. Even though they did not have breakfast or anything, I liked the small kitchen in the rooms so you can cook something small.

All was good. Property is very nice. Only issue was on Friday night there was a loud bass noise from the parking lot where the men were barbecuing. The issue seemed to be handled after I called the front desk. Also the outdoor party shut down a little after 10pm.

Got in the room, and mind me this is our 7th time here because we had never had a problem, the room had a funny smell but after the drive we just wanted to shower and lay down, the shower was not cleaned, no shampoo, conditioner or soap.
