Excellent Hotel but far from civilisation, limited activities in the area

toilet was durty. we can not use hot water in bath.

One of the best hotel and a very accomodating staff, with a gastronomical breakfast buffet (salute to the chef ), surely i will booked again for the next holiday to cebu.

Dusit Thani is a known brand hotel that has a reputation for great service and high value. This location needs some minor improvement in staff training or monitoring before they are ready for independent customer service. During my three day stay there was no staffing at the poolside to take orders for drinks or food. You need to walk to the bar and go inside with wet clothing and place your order and wait for quite awhile before your drinks are delivered to you at poolside. The gym equipment is in great condition, but the floor inside the gym is hazardous ⚠️ there are several areas where the floor has collapsed and you can literally injure your foot and leg. It’s a little strange that the gym floor isn’t concrete even though it’s on the second floor. Strangely the gym has weak metal beams underneath a rubber matting made to resemble floor tiles and you can clearly see the beams are broken. The outside deck leading to the gym also has issues with the waterproofing material peeling off and this could become a slip hazard ⚠️ According to the staff the hotel was finished construction in 2019’ and opened after the pandemic shutdown in 2022’ On a positive note the Thai and Korean restaurants were excellent in service and food. The breakfast buffet has excellent service and wonderful food choices, however the largest plate size is rather small which requires you to juggle several plates or make numerous trips to the many food stations. The rooms are nice and spacious.

Not so friendly in accommodating guests requests/preference. Front desk phone not so accessible. Phone always busy. Not so good with following up. Had to call few times about something. Service not so accommodating as you would expect in hotels like this.

it’s a very nice hotel lobby, very big, spacious and grand. the pool is nice especially the Saturday night music with DJ in the pool area, it had also nice garden and beach, that was th best high light of our stay. my room has nice clean comfy bed. Most staff are really nice and polite. celebrated my nephew’s birthday, me and y son’s birthday in advance. we had dinner at sun set bar and had a small yummy birthday cake to share, it's for free and i was very grateful i was not charged of the cake. After dinner- we blew and slice the cake. I asked for side plate and i was only given 2 plate and there were 6 of us. i asked again fo fork and she only gave me 2 fork. i dont know if she’s just lazy or just no common sense. its an expensive hotel tor a poor service.

Friendly staffs

A so called 'garden view deluxe room' in fact has a view over a car park and a building site. Several areas of the hotel were closed for renovation and, while the pool is a really amazing facility, the gym which was supposed to be open to midnight, was closed at 9.30pm. Only transport option was a schedule bus to the local mall, morning and afternoon... or a private hire taxi.

The hospitality in this resort was exceeded my expectations. I traveled with my family of 12 and they went above and beyond, from check-in & being upgraded to readjusting tables for meals. Shoutout to John from the front desk & Alvin from the poolside restaurant!

It is a very beautiful, quiet, peaceful calming place to just go relax with amazing view from the sea view rooms. Amazing beautiful pool and amazing food options. Staff is very very friendly and helpful.

First time in Cebu and glad I chose to stay at Dusit Thani. I enjoyed the wide variety breakfast and different dining experience. The spa was great and the pool was amazing. Just being able to keep cool in the water and watch the ocean made my stay incredible! The staff were so professional and kind, they definely will recommend and come back.

I didn’t appreciate that I had to email my Expedia reservation to the front desk when I checked. That was not a very warm welcoming. 5 star hotel with 2 star customer service.

Room, hotel and view were great. Awful open mic karaoke noise all evening/night. Filipino buffet dishes were all sitting in a ton of oul. Dirty wine glasses and outside temperature wine.

Beautiful resort, great service and friendly staff! Private beach is full of marine life great for swimming and snorkelling. The sunset over the infinity pool and beach is every night is stunning 😍 I got a massage and facial at the spa and it was quite luxurious too. Definitely rate 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very quiet and relaxing, good for families who like to play in the large pool, good restaurants available on site, accommodating friendly staff, a bit far from the city.

Beautiful place

The room that we stay look like it’s been a long time vacant. Rusting sink dirty mat for the shower it’s been rolled to long. There is no privacy on the bathroom between toilet, shower and the vanity. Staff are very nice and attentive otherwise.

We booked a family room expecting it to fit 2 adults and 2 children, but it fell short of accommodating our needs and the beds can’t possibly fit one adult and even a toddler. Really disappointed with the size of the rooms. Upon check-in, Ruth at the reception was exceptionally rude, giving us an unwelcoming reception and repeatedly asked me to prove that I booked the room with breakfast while I was struggling to get connected to internet. The beach was disappointingly “very” small, and for a supposed resort, the entertainment options were lacking, making the property feel more like a hotel than a resort. Additionally, being far from the city, it's challenging to spend an entire day here, with limited activities within the property itself. However only one positive was Alvin from the Sunset Sports Bar was very friendly and tried his best to accommodate our special dietary needs.
