Really easy to check in. Parking was very close and secured.

I love the Tru but its not safe anymore. there are a ton of homeless camped out all around the hotel. Definitely dont leave valuables in your car if you stay here. great service, breakfast, location though.

Clerk at desk was very helpful. Didn’t care for the homeless people sitting less than a block from hotel.

This was a last minute stay, and for the price I paid with some Key Rewards it was fine. If I had paid full price I would have been a tad disappointed. The hotel room was clean and the bed comfortable, but it felt pretty basic. This was my first time at a Tru by Hilton property and it didn’t feel anything like a Hilton. I think millennials may like the social aspect of the downstairs gathering area (billiards table) but after a long somewhat stressful day, we didn’t feel like socializing. The location is great as it is easy to walk to restaurants and a morning coffee shop. The included breakfast was good and the staff really nice. I was not at all a fan of the soap/shampoo/lotion dispensers as they are awkward to use. Also for older folks with less hand strength they would be hard to use. Our shower soap dispenser was almost out. It should have been left at least half full. I don’t know that I’d stay at another Tru property.

Great jumping off point to the San Juans. Staff were friendly and check in and out were easy. Very dog friendly.

No coffee in the room?? Had to go to the lobby in my underwear after waking up to get coffee… ridiculous, furnish Kurigs…

It’s the hotel version of Poochy from the Simpsons. It’s decorated very obviously to appeal to younger people, but the rooms have vinyl floors that carry noise and aren’t very clean.
