Great smaller scale property. Rooms were very clean and well decorated. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom, shower was great. Pool area was awesome, not too crowded, good drinks and food. Food and drink expensive, but to be expected.

We loved our stay! Loved the ambience, decor, beds were super comfy and rooms very spacious. Tanner was so helpful and made our shuttle rides super fun!

Only issue was at check-in, my credit card was run for $100 for incidentals. No big deal, right? Apparently, if you book with Expedia, if they just add and run your card for the incidentals, it says your card is declined. Worth noting: Card wasn’t damaged, had plenty of credit available, and there wasn’t a fraud concern. I had to pull my card up on my credit card app and prove the charge had been accepted and was pending for them to realize the issue was on their end. The host then explained this happens when you book and pay with Expedia. A small thing, but mortifying, because the whole lobby could hear I might be a deadbeat with a non working card - but I wasn’t. Other than that embarrassing situation, the lobby is lovely, hotel smelled great walking in, valets are attentive, staff are kind and otherwise knowledgeable, rooms are spacious, clean, with just the amenities you need, nothing you don’t. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, thought I brought my own pillow because I am personally not a fan of the highly squishable, faux-down-feather style pillows. If you’re not a fan of those either - bring your own pillow because the room has like, 6 of them, but they’re all the same style. Overall, a very nice hotel; reminds me a little of the vibe at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Elegant but funky, Cool, eclectic, maybe a little naughty? A great stay & only two blocks from the Moody Center; aka: Austin City Limits.

Nice and unique hotel in downtown Austin. They provided us with a glass of wine when we got there. Our room had a medium sized bottle of wine, cold water and a Moon Pie which was nice. They provide fresh coffee and tea with different milk options in the mornings. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Only Con is that Valet parking is $60.

We had a great time and will be staying here again soon

Great hotel and the pool is really nice with bar services. My recommendations could be improve customer service in the bar and restaurant area.

Great water pressure in the shower! Tap water had a strong chlorine taste so we grabbed water bottles from the gym. Would have been nice to make these water bottle more available. Cookies in the lobby and coffee by the elevator were nice luxuries

Stayed for our 28th AIP on checking ing front desk sent up Prosecco & Topo Chico. Came by in evening to ask if we needed more towels and water. Lovely. Courtesy vehicle ride a plus!! Love ZaZa!

Liked internal decor-especially the art. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. Car service to local downtown restaurants and clubs was perfect. Only real controllable issue to us was the pool was overcrowded and the staff was not able to stay up with drinks/food. Other than this minor issue we had a great time at this top flight hotel.

Wonderful stay

The room was great, shower pressure was amazing. The neighborhood is great for walking around for restaurants, but like everything else in Texas you’re better off driving. The staff was very helpful, I had to extend my stay an extra day due to my flight being delayed and they were very accommodating. The pool area was very nice for lounging and the food was good. My only complaint was the construction view from my balcony(but that’s not within their control so not a big deal) and the Chrome cast didn’t work but also not a huge deal since I could still use cable.

Overpriced. No coffee making machine in room. Bed was not comfortable. Nice hotel and service but would not return. Only valet parking option and it was $60 per night.

I will start with the positive. VERY well decorated, the hotel is infused with a luxurious scent throughout, perfect music and yummy treats in the reception. Very secure access to our room. Felt very safe here. Rooms were well appointed with minibar, clean, comfortable beds and very nice linen. Now for the cons- There was one front desk person at check in on a Saturday. We felt for him as he was a bit overwhelmed by phones ringing, people standing in front of him waiting for check in, guest requests etc. This is unacceptable. There should have been a 2nd employee or manager on duty to assist him. Pool- we were not greeted by an attendant and went without any service. No drinks or food offered at our placement. Restaurant- wow this one really fell short! The host greeted us with menus and told us to go sit wherever. Never went over featured menu options nor did they come back to check on us after we placed our order. Overall, bad restaurant service. I would question if I would want to return to this Zaza location under this price point and the lack of customer service. The customer service experience needs to brush up.
