Proactive maintenance needs to take a higher place with operations in Panama overall. Besides that, everything was basically flawless. Great place to stay and very accessible to everything you need. Don't think twice.

Excellent stay. Super clean. Quiet. The only subpar encounters were in the bar, where although the service was friendly it was VERY slow even when no other patrons were there.

The hotel was great!! Great location & an amazing room, like an apt! There was a real frig, microwave & stovetop. We didn’t cook but we did use the frig for wine & cold water bottles! The view was great thru the giant windows! It was just wonderful! The real breakfast was great each day & lots of choices were available including an omelette station! This hotel is attached to a mall & has lots of shops & a wine store w/water to take on your trips & good wine choices! So convenient! Walk to great places to eat & much more!!

The stay was wonderful

Good place to stay but very slow maintenance and staff to switch out a bad chrome receiver which was disconnecting every 1-5 minutes. I asked them to fix it 2 days before I left and it wasn’t switched out

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. What was interesting about this hotel was that it is located in a shopping center where there’s a supermarket, a pharmacy, a clinic, a bowling alley, a food court and a full on restaurant downstairs, a movie theater, a liquor store and clothing stores to name a few. The staff were friendly. They leave a personalized note on the bed with some chocolates at the end of your stay which I thought was very thoughtful and cute. What I will say is, if you’re looking for a hotel with zero noise, this isn’t the one as you will hear noises from the cars blowing their horns but personally it didn’t bother me as I wasn’t in my room most of the time except when I was going to bed and at that time the noise wasn’t bad. The other thing I will say about the hotel is that although there’s a rooftop pool, there’s no pool bar which was a bit disappointing. Also, as you walk out to the rooftop, it’s very hot (even at night) so if you want to just lounge outside by the pool to read a book you’re going to be sweaty. Last but not least, while my following feedback isn’t directly related to the hotel, I think it’s good to share so others who are interested in booking this hotel because of the various amenities in the area are aware. We went to the Jungla Bowling alley and while the food and the bowling was good, the service was horribly slow and some of the staff lacked customer service.

We booked this hotel for 8 nights. Rooms were clean and smelt clean. Convenient grocery and bowling arena in building. Breakfast choices are very limited and became boring. Only option for kids were pancakes.

Pros: Good free breakfast. Nice views out the restaurant windows too. There is a supermarket across the street. Nice swimming pool. Special thanks to Kasey at the front desk for her exceptional service. Cons: The gym equipment is limited. If you don't like noise, avoid the cheaper north-facing rooms, as the large fans on the shopping center roof below run constantly. Better to pay more and book a south-facing ocean-view room. The bathroom faucet was stiff and hard to control. Very annoying. Worn-out faucet cartridges seem a common problem in Marriott hotels. The fridge was noisy, so we unplugged it at night, and used a pot of ice-cubes to keep our food cool. There are no pedestrian lights in Panama City, so crossing the streets is always risky. The immediate neighborhood was fairly clean, but going west one block, the trash littering the streets was horrifying. Overall, Panama has a disgraceful littering problem. The government does not seem to care about tourists. This hotel seemed to have been renovated, but it did not seem new, contrary to what I had read previously. Overall, this hotel was good, and we enjoyed our stay. In Panama City, I recommend Ancon Hill, the Metropolitan Natural Park, and the Punta Culebra Nature Center. If you like malls, try the Multi-Plaza and the Albrook Mall. The Lady of Mount Carmel Church exterior is beautiful, and a sharp contrast with the surrounding neighborhood. Also, the Metro trains are clean, pleasant, and well worth riding.

Spacious Room with no view, a view into a mall and really dark! Elevators and pool need to be cleaned much better, floors are dirty. Area around property is nice with dining and shopping options. If the hotel gets cleaned much better, it could get a 5!

Very practical location for our trip

There were only 5 lounge chairs by the pool side. And house keeping did not come on 2 occasions to clean our room

We had a fantastic seven days at the Residence Inn. Room was great, well laid out with kitchenette. Two supermarkets very close by. Third floor (elevator) access direct to food court in mall with several great restaurants. Breakfast buffet hit the spot every morning. Staff were fantastic and very patient helping me with recovery of my bag from airline. Highly recommend

This was our 2nd time staying at this location. Very pleased with the property.

The infrastructure is good, the service is poor. The day I checked in, nobody got a room at the right time as they were not ready. During breakfast time, there were missing items in the menu everyday, even napkins; finally, we asked to clean the room just one day, and it was not done… so, I doubt ti recommend it.

I went with my family and we loved it. Rooms are comfy. Everything is clean. You have total access to stores and entertainment. And we always received a kind attention from members of the staff. We'll definitely coming back.
