All good. good location, clean neat and comfortable.
I love to stay here whenever I come to Kathmandu.
one poor thing I experienced was the breakfast. overall the quality and the dishes were poor. didn't have much to eat which is sad and I needed to have breakfast as this was for business trip.

Absolutely disgusting. There are up charges for everything. Do not use the bar or restaurant, the staff is paid based on how much they bill out. Bartenders and servers will add extra charges to your bill. And as a going away present, $100 for the airport shuttle. Unreal.
I saw so many other guests upset about all the bogus charges. The staff doesn’t care nor does the management. I strongly recommend not staying at this dump.

Stayed two nights on the top floor with great view. Probably one of the best hotels in Thamel. Access to the club lounge was convenient, and I had it to myself. Very friendly staff here. Professional spa staff too. Central location in Thamel. Buffet dinner was not very impressive. An outdoor pool would be great. Recommended stay.

It's a good place to stay, right at the heart of Thamel. Loads of shops and restaurants close by and wonderful service by the whole team.
I really like a few team members at the restaurant and gym. I can’t recall all their names now but remember one who was very kind and extremely helpful - Radha!

Marriott is losing its customer centricity, it seems to be a global phenomenon. It has become a common observation. I have had better experiences with other hotel chains atleast in this year.

Hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the security staff there. They went out of their way to ensure I was safe and had good time around the hotel.

Aloft is located in the heart of Thamel, which is where the majority of shops, restaurants and bars that cater to foreign travellers appears to be concentrated. There's a shopping centre attached to the hotel and getting a taxi was easy. The onsite restaurant (Nook) and the bar (WXYZ) were good. I would stay here again next time I'm in Kathmandu.

Location is superb, right in the Thamel.
Great room with a comfy bed, wonderful rain shower and I got a city mountain view, which was excellent.
WIFI was SUPERB! 70-75 mbps download and upload, was the only place in Nepal where I got to finish some work and download shows.
Breakfast was OK , dinner buffet was good.
Rooftop pool had amazing views, though could have been cleaner.
Service was top notch, from every staff member.
Two elevator broke down during our stay, which made waiting there a torturing experience.

Hotel located in good location and linked to a shopping mall so you can have other food options. Although Resturant are also limited in the mall. Room is acceptable with good size working desk and bed. However some part of the room seems worn and may need some “refreshment”.Hot water is good and powerful.

Perfect hotel: 100 precent professional staff, very polite and responsive. Nice pool, great food, good wifi and great rooms/shower. 10 out of 10. Was in Kathmandu on business trip, but hotel suits everyone. Close to Thamel market.

I had a wonderful time at aloft! Rebecca (server at the restaurant) was incredible and kind to me. She helped me when I was having a personal issue and I'm very grateful for her. She was attentive and wonderful. Tsunami was awesome! He was so sweet and kind every time I saw him. He is a very hard worker and does everything with a smile and warm heart. There was another man who worked at the front (when you first walk in) of the hotel but I can't remember his name--he was so helpful attentive and kind.

Amazing location. Close to the best shopping and dining venues in Kathmandu. Really kind and welcoming staff. Strict implementation of COVID-19 measures and above all, great food in the restaurant. Will definitely come back!

Stayed at Aloft before and after trekking to EBC-Gokyo. Really wonderful hotel. A great place to recover after two weeks of heavy trekking. Very clean and luxorious and centrally located in the Thamel tourist area. Very friendly staff nice ambience and good food!

Fantastic hotel. Very high standard, friendly staff, centrally located in the Thamel tourist area. Visited in Nov-20, during the pandemic, the hotel practiced very high hygiene standards.

I loved the quality staff service. I was disappointed that the spa/pool were under construction. It was one of the reasons I chose the hotel.
