Spacious air-conditioned rooms, fantastic location next to the main square in the old town area, friendly and helpful staff.

The property was clean and tastefully designed. Pictures are as described. There was air conditioning and a big bathroom.

The staff was very helpful in translating the language. Breakfast was excellent. Located near to the busy Obispo street.

The room was excellent and the renovated bsthroom amazing. Apparently there is wifi available at a cost but we were not able to connect as we were never given the password. Which as a foreigner traveling with your only connection being wifi it was unsettling not being able to communicate or check on our transportation arrangements. We were left in the dark electronically. This was the only negative part of our stay.

Conveniently located in Habana Vieja. Breakfast was a great start to the day and the staff was so nice. I felt like I was staying with family. I’d definitely stay here if I’m able to return to Cuba in the future.

The perfect room to enjoy the real Havanna. Near to a lot of places, great team, always in time a.e. for Taxi, always helpful. And Havanna is a great city full of constrast. With this room you will be "Cubano" within 2 to 3 days.

The room was exactly as described, and it had everything we needed. The staff provided a wonderful breakfast, and they were incredibly helpful in booking taxis and accommodating a late check-out due to our late evening flight. Their flexibility and excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable.

The room is clean, with air conditioning, big bathroom, internet and tv. Very nice people which helped us with tips to trips, how to get places and what to do with money, very helpful! They were easy to talk to (also speak English) and available. Breakfast is good with fruits, juice and coffee. it’s placed right next to plaza Vieja which is a super location in old Havana. The experience was over what we expected and we felt very welcomed. Will definitely recommend this place.

Hosts are good.

Al Sol is a charming accommodation for a couple days in Havana. It is a bright, spacious and quiet place just a couple minutes away from the Plaza Vieja!! The rooms are very well kept with tall ceilings and our host was most warm and accommodating. The room we booked had an issue with the toilet flushing and immediately we were transferred to an even nicer room which we absolutely loved! Our breakfast was made with care and served with a warm smile to start our day off right!! We even met the owner of the place who was such a gentleman. Finally, since we had a whole day in Havana before leaving, they were so kind to store our bags until we left the city. I would definitely stay here again—I wish I remembered the names of the two lovely ladies we were dealing with—a big gracias to you both :)

What we loved most about the property was the professionalism and courtesy extended to use by the host and in Particular Anamaya. She was very accommodating and always willing to assist with anything that we had a question on. The place was clean and modern and very close to many food places and groceries stores. As well as the craft market. It was a 1 minute walk from one of the Main squares in Old Havana that was surrounding by entertainment, eateries and even a spa. We loved it so much that we actually stayed there again on our return through Cuba.

Very kind, friendly, attentive staff. They showed up right on time to let us in to our room. Great location, just one and 1/2 short blocks from plaza vieja. Continental breakfast was very good.

Fantastic location in Havana Vieja, just a few minutes walk to all the main sights and surrounded by restaurants. Spacious airy and large room with very comfortable bed. We received a very warm welcome and the team accommodated our needs on our last day for a late flight home from Havana. Good breakfast included in the room rate.

It’s great value for money. Walkable distance to most tourist attractions in Old Havana, good breakfast and friendly staff.

What a lovely place to stay just one street back from Plaza Vieja. The room was lovely and the staff were fabulous. We couldn’t fault our hosts from the time we arrived at the airport until we left. We were provided a basic breakfast each day of fruit and toast with coffee. The mini bar was a godsend as it’s difficult to find things in Cuba. Highly recommend this property.

Really good place. Daymed was great and arranged an airport transfer for us (extra cost but zero hassle at 1am!) and Alex was brilliant and gave us loads of information about where to eat and have mohitos :) Its clean with hot water and great first stay in Cuba. Would recommend :)

Havana old part is very different

The property was dated but it was clean with had some modern improvements. The shower was not the best, had to take very short showers and some bathroom amenities were lacking. The staff was friendly, the hosts visited daily. The breakfast was not great, I could barely eat it.

Al-Sol was a great place to call home during our short stay in Havana. The accommodations were kept clean, and the morning breakfast was healthy mix of eggs, toast and fruit topped off with juice and coffee. Centrally located in old Havana, it was a great base to see all the local sites and very safe. The owner Alex was happy to answer any questions or provide help where required. This included a little tour of the surrounding area on my arrival on the first day. The hotel staff Lagalina and Paola provided a great start to the day with the breakfast and kept the place clean. Additional caretakers Carlos and Mara were also very helpful in all aspects of our stay. If I ever get the chance to visit Havana again, I would stay here again. The only issue was reliable internet but that is a common problem within the entire country.

Due to date changing, the host managed to keep me update with availabilities, so that I could stay in the same case without moving around. It is generous size of room for 1 person, great for solo traveller. It was pleasant and comfortable during my stay. The team were very friendly especially Marra and Paula.

The door light well light up, because a dark street. Right around the corner from an active square to easy area to walk from. The room we had needs a little attention in the bathroom. Some items need repaired, but still functional and looks nice. A little noise heard between the rooms, but no street noise, as 2 of the 3 rooms off the street side. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful.

On the positive side the bathroom was nice. On the negative side, you couldn’t lock the room because of a broken bolt on the door. The headboard on the bed was very badly stained & worn. After the initial greeting there was NOBODY available to sort out the problems, we booked for 2 nights but left after 2 hours. We did however get a full refund through Expedia, but overall not a good experience.

Great English speaking hosts. Room cleaned daily, including towel change, nice bathroom. Fridge full of cold drinks at a good price.

Myra, the owner and host , was a delight. She and her husband were knowledgeable about the area and made sure we were well taken care of .

The people are very friendly and helpful Very clean and close to a lot of restaurants and points of interest. Right in the heart of old Havana I will definitely come back again.

This property is really nice and is in an amazing location! You can walk to multiple restaurants and bottled water was available within a 2 minute walk. This casa had a fully stocked mini bar also. Would definitely recommend this Casa for a stay in Havana. The owners were extremely helpful with relevant information, which can be difficult to get most of the time. Breakfast was great, and the shower had hot water.
