It was a lovely place and I would definitely recommend

Hidden gem of an apartment you would never know it was there. Some noise from the air conditioning of the Asda building next door but location was great for a night out in Worcester

Lovely quiet property

We stayed in the Nightingale Room of The Old Infirmary for a week in July 2024 to attend various events at the Three Choirs Festival. The location was great as everything was within walking distance. The parking spaces were very convenient. Having said that, I cannot recommend this particular room as a place to stay, unless you are only going for one night without luggage. The room was clean, comfortable and full of character but, apart from a Hobbit-sized ‘hanging rail’ under the stairs, there was nowhere to store any clothing. There was no wardrobe, shelves or chest of drawers, just three coat-hooks in the entrance lobby of the apartment. From this lobby there was a flight of 12 stairs leading up to the living area - without a handrail!
We were prepared for the room to be noisy (ear plugs were provided) owing to the proximity of the adjacent Asda store. I assumed it would be early deliveries by large lorries, but that was not too much of a problem. What was annoying was the constant, very loud noise from the ventilation fans on Asda’s roof a short distance from our window.
The bathroom would hold no fear for any cats wandering in, as it was only about a metre wide, and the reduced ceiling height for most of the room made for a very uncomfortable visit. Another small point is that the mirror in the bathroom was behind you as you stood at the sink – not very convenient. With a litle thought this room could offer very good accommodation. As it is, I would not recommend it.

Very well adapted historic building. Very comfortable. Very well appointed.

This is a great looking apartment and easy walking to asda and shops. The kitchen is outfitted for two people. Everything we needed. I deducted a point because the fan wouldnt stay on high so the room was a little warm and the kettle was a whistling version. When I woke up at 3 with jet lag - it was impossible to get a cuppa without waking up my daughter. The hob beeped loudly and the kettle whistled. An electric shut off model would be so much easier! The hob was confusing to turn on/off. The bathroom and shower was fab but Im 5 foot 10 and I was fine but I doubt anyone 6 foot or taller would be happy.

Lovely studio, close to city centre

the place is stunning, decor and room really was brilliant. in the centre of town too which was great as i was in a meeting not too far away. It is right next to the loading bay of Asda so I can understand what other reviews say but if you are up at a normal time it isnt an issue.

A lovely historical place to stay convenient to the train stations and the attractions in the city centre of Worcester. We stayed in the Fleming room on the ground floor. Ear plugs were provided which were useful. The delivery bay for Asda is near by, and they did have an early delivery.

Kudos to whoever took the photos cos the Rooms look nothing like that! Stained carpets, grubby paintwork everywhere- really needs some attention, tiny shower, horrible pillows, if you want to stay behind An Asda loading bay where you can hear everyone walking around due to the creaking floor boards ( and yes , I get it it’s an old building !) then this is the place for you. Usually stay at No 12 apartments when in Worcester for work and it’s a different class. I will await a sarcastic comment as everyone else who has dared to criticize has got instead of an acknowledgment that if needs work desperately

The shower was good. The bed was comfortable and clean. The throw on the sofa hid its poor stained condition and it was not comfortable.
Different sized wine glasses were provided.
A tea towel was provided. There was no draining board, so the tea towel was needed to stand the washed items on and was not available to dry up.
The carpet was stained.
No welcome pack was provided (described on the website). The housekeeper said she could only get some items, so there was no point, as people would only complain.
There were plenty of tea bags. 5 servings of milk were provided for 2 people for a 4-day stay. Minimal cutlery and crockery were provided (a single side plate and 2 dinner plates), not adequate to cut up rotisserie chicken. There wasn't a spare knife to butter bread. There was salt but no pepper. The kettle (for hot plate) had no whistle. No microwave instructions were provided and the housekeeper supplied a copy for a different microwave. The small rubbish bin had no extra bin bags and no instructions for disposing of extra rubbish.
We provided initial feedback (requested by Expedia). The housekeeper (Laura) contacted us and addressed some of our concerns. When challenged on the assorted wine glasses, she replied guests just steal things, so there was no point in providing matching ones. She said one tea towel was provided, as guest leave the washing up for her to do. We feel we were misled by the description of this as being a "luxury serviced studio apartment".

Comfortable New Year stay in upscale studio apartment in unique building. Good location for city centre.

Warm space - perhaps a little too much so - great for winter but in summer might be stifling.
Ground floor so kept blinds down.
Quite a distance from where I needed to be - might be great if had a car but came by train.
Did not cook whilst there but very basic provision and only instant coffee and breakfast tea bags.
Only spoke to staff by phone but very helpful as organised a desk & chair.
Did not see anyone at all during stay.
Would I stay again - depends on the reason for visit - if work then maybe.

The room itself was lovely and clean.
However the code that was given to access the apartment was not working. We therefore had to wait 10 to 15 minutes in the cold to get a new code.
The room was cold, therefore I turned on the radiator by turning the taps at the end. When it got too warm, I tried to turn it off but it would not turn off. I called the helpline but they said they would not be able to help. I had to sleep with no duvet on, window open and luckily there was also a fan available to help me cool down.
There was also a light that we could not find a switch for that stayed on all night, this also disturbed my sleep.

Great location and excellent facility. Parking was a breeze which was appreciated. The bed was cozy and the shower was great (although it lacks a shelf). Sink did not have a stopper in the kitchen which was a minor inconvenience.

Perfect location to city centre
Loved the nightlife

Wonderful stay at the Old Infirmary. The juxtaposition of this Grade 2 listed, and very sensitively renovated, building next to a Sports Direct and Asda is itself worth a visit. Excellent central location benefiting from free parking and an earlyish check-in (2 pm). Comfy apartment and loved the Molton Brown toiletries. Well worth a stay. I would book again if we come back to Worcester.

Kitchenette was disappointing There was minimum cutlery, crockery and storage space. No toaster except the grill in the microwave if you were happy to wait 10-15 minutes for 1 slice of toast. No full size fridge/freezer as claimed instead a small fridge with a larger than usual icebox and no draining board at the sink. A hook on the back of the bathroom and front door would have been useful and also instructions for the TV. I would not call this a luxury apartment. However a very comfortable bed and within easy walking distance to the city centre

Old building with greatly renovated rooms, very cool vibe/furnitures used, parking right outside, good discription on how to find the building and how to get in - well organized.
If you’re a light sleeper: building is old and it’s possible to hear your upstairs neighbor’s every footprint :)

It's right next to the market and just a cross the street from plenty of shops, resturants, and bars.
The building and room were very pretty and have a lot of history to it.

Was great until Saturday night when other guests returned at 2am and stomped around upstairs for an hour. Otherwise highly recommended.

This is a lovely property tucked away behind a restaurant. It's very easy to walk into town from here.
The decor was great and the kitchenette was very well appointed.
The building is listed and dates back hundred of years, so you can hear a few creaks as people use the stairs but that's normal for a property of this type.
The staff (I spoke to Laura) were extremely helpful. I would stay here again.

Lovely place, great location, spot on communication
2.0 / 10.0
First impression of the building was very nice as it’s in a nice renovated condition. Access is very easy with the code provided. Parking was also fine. When I entered the room there was an odd odour coming from the sink, I could only best describe it as a strong bad breath smell. I let the owner know who told me they were aware and had already put drain blocked down the sink after the last guest had poured chip fat down the sink. Unfortunately the smell did not go during our stay even after the sink being run for ours. It ruined the overall experience and the I got told ‘it definitely doesn’t smell’ by the cleaner. I feel we should of been offered a different room

Apartment location was fantastic
Can't fault the place

The place is very beautiful, extremely nice style and decoration. In a good location for trains etc, however it is in a very noisy area, we have been woken up at 5 am because of some deliveries for the supermarket next door.
