Amazing place, very clean and all areas well maintained, beautiful winery and you can do your own tour and visit a small museum and their cellars. Only con no spa or gym.

Incredibly picturesque spot. Quiet, great food, wine & port. Patricia set the tone for us and runs a great team. Can't wait to go back.

The property is beautiful with plenty of trails to explore. We done a 200 hectare wine tasting which was good but we felt it was rushed and could have included some snacks / food pairing.

This is a great place to stay. Excellent services from front desk to restaurant. The food is exciting and excellent and I love the exchange we had in the restaurant. We were well taken care of. The room can get quite warm which requires one door to be kept opened.

Loved the place!!!!! Didn't need to drive anywhere, once we got to the hotel. Wine tastings, hikes, good food, relaxation, and the most photogenic surroundings all day long. It felt like a "down to earth" place even though it has resort sensibilities. Perfect hospitality!

Ventozelo Hotel & Quinta is a magical place. We had an incredible time there. The setting is absolutely gorgeous. The staff at the resort are incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Perfect! Wonderful stay, wished we could have stayed longer

Ventozelo Hotel and Quinta was hands down one of our favorite stays we have ever had - and we travel a lot. The views and property are absolutely stunning and we lived every minute of our stay. The restaurant and service were top notch, and aside from one snooty gentleman at the store/activities the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

It is a beautiful property and staff are helpful. We stayed in the previous wine cellar so the room is spacious and has a nice view. I do hope that hair conditioner can be provided in the future as well as creamer for coffee in the room. Also the trails signs aren’t visible for many of them which is not that big a deal since everywhere is beautiful.

Amazing didn’t want to leave. The views are incredible. Book it.

Wow! My wife and I enjoyed 2 days at Quinta Ventozelo. This place had it all - Beautiful scenery, great accommodation, fantastic service, great food, walking trails through the vineyard and a pool to die for. Loved every minute of our stay - thanks to the staff.

Quinta do Ventozelo offers the ultimate regenerative break to the weary traveller. An excellent location with the most outstanding views across the Rio Douro imaginable. The rooms are excellent and well appointed, the food is of the highest quality and the staff friendly, efficient and very professional. The perfect get-away for couples with so many things to on the estate - wish I’d booked for longer!

The scenery and views of the Douro valley are amazing. The gardens were beautifully designed and planted.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner options were excellent. We used the pool every day and would definitely stay again if visiting the Douro.

Ventozelo Hotel and Quinta was spectacular. It was beautiful, peaceful and filled with beauty…they grow their own food which is served at breakfast and dinner and was absolutely outstanding …everything was perfect and I did not want to leave.

We arrived at the final leg of our trip. Very attentive staff in a magnificent setting. Beautiful grounds that you can walk, hike and explore. Scenic infinity pool which unfortunately We didn’t have the time to enjoy. Next time will plan at least 1 or 2 extra nights there. Breakfast was delicious and so was my dinner.

It was amazing! We loved it! The Hotel and service provided was impeccable! The dinner and breakfast were delicious! The wine shop had very good wine at a great price. I highly recommend this experience!

Truly, one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. The hotel is superb and the location is off the chart gorgeous. Wish we had stayed longer.

A great escape. We took a jeep and toured the vineyards before a wine tasting and then dinner. The following day we picked up a picnic box for two, that contained lots of food and drinks, which we took down to the river and enjoyed for the afternoon. We were able to walk through the vines, relax at the infinity pool overlooking the Douro River, eat and drink at the restaurant, and play checkers in the common area. We loved our stay and will come back again soon.

We had an incredible two days at Ventozelo Hotel & Quinta. It was one of the best resort experiences that we have ever had. The service from the team was amazing. They care so much about their guests having a wonderful time. The food in the restaurant was delicious - innovative and interesting. The rooms are decorated so nicely. The views of the river valley and the vineyards are stunning. The swimming pool is breathtaking. Our wine experience with Rita was three hours long and one of the best wine experiences that we have ever had. Thank you so very much Ventozelo Hotel & Quinta! We will be back soon!

Exceptional views. Peaceful setting Infinity pool

This is a wonderful property, excellent service, and we love the common living room with view over Douro. There are lots of trails that we can explore within the vineyard. The food and service at the restaurant is superb.

This was one of the most amazing stays I've done in awhile! my husband and I traveled here for our anniversary with some friends and we were beyond impressed. We unfortunately only stayed for one night but were debating extending our flight if that was an option! The hotel in general is absolutely stunning. The buildings are built right into the hill side and there are amazing views every direction you turn! The staff was extremely helpful and everyone was super accommodating. We were lucky enough to do a wine tour and the wines that are produced at the Ventozelo are one of the best that I have tasted. We had lunch and dinner at the resort and both meals were top notch. We unfortunately weren't able to stay for breakfast, but the front desk prepared to go boxes for us and left them at the reception! The next time we come to Portugal we will come back here for several days! I will also be telling my family they need to come visit the Ventozelo Hotel when they travel here next year!

This place was absolutely beautiful. Very easy to get to and park if needed, check in process was smooth, staff was so so helpful and nice about absolutely everything. The property was amazing and so peaceful. Rooms were great. Food was amazing and the wine was even better. Nothing bad to say about this place - hope to come back and visit some day!
