Easy check-in. We had a late arrival and Vicki had us all set when we arrived. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Cute, non-chain hotel. It’s in a good location—easy walk to main drag and restaurants. Room was a little small and shower was very small but was well maintained, clean, and quiet. European sized. The only issue I had was temperature control—only heat or air on or off so bed was warm but room was cold. I’d still stay here again.

Self checkin/checkout was easy. It was chilly and took us a bit to figure out that the air conditioner was also the heat (FYI). The room was clean and provided a good night’s sleep. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Centrally located in Munising.

We stayed at the Munising Motel in Munising, Michigan on Friday night, we took the Picture Rocks Boat Cruise at 4pm. We stopped by the motel at 2pm and we were able to get in our room. It was an outside entrance with a door key lock. The room was basically 2 Double Beds, a bathroom with a stand up shower and toilet. The rooms are just to sleep in as you would be out doing other things in the community.
The TV was different though, it was a Fire Stick and you couldn't get local channels. We watched YouTube mostly as we couldn't find regular tv channels, but that was about the only thing that was different.
It, the motel was worth the money we paid for it, and close to everything to do up there.

Loved this little motel. Reminded me of the ones we stayed at when I was a child. Very neat, clean & conveniently located. No breakfast served but a few nice little cafes close by. Would definitely stay again.

Check in was super easy. But the whole stay we never saw anyone at the front desk. They were available via text though. Location was easy to get to grocery store, gas station and souvenir shop. Questionable weed smell inthe room. Was nit terrible but it was present.

The property has been remodeled and was nice. The Staff Brody and Dylan were great and very helpful. We were able to walk around town easily. Definitely would recommend the place.

The room was incredibly small and cramped. The beds didn’t seem to fit well in the main area and it was hard to turn around, let alone set any supplies in the bathroom. One of the bed mattresses was unfit to sleep on. Too many people have had to sit on the edge of it, that its springs have given up. The bathroom also had some damage that had been overlooked. Parking was also very tight. It was very overpriced for what it was. The air conditioner worked well to drown out the noise of people upstairs.

the location was convenient for walking downtown and access to the major roads. Beds were comfortable, and had a frig and microwave. Coffee maker was keurig- not my favorite, but that is a personal preference.

Would definatly come back, room was clean,updated and easy walking distance to downtown. Only 2 small things stood out..No soap in the shower & should be a sign labeling where the "OFFICE" is. Being a first timer at this hotel we walked around the entire building trying to locate it.

This is a hidden gem of Munising! There was no staff onsite but we had no problems with remote check in. The property was quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Got to my the house I had rented which has an attached motel..not a car in the parking lot and a soul around. Finally called the place and a women answered and told me she had no booking for me. Then when she did find it she said she was sorry but it had been doubled booked. She ended up putting my party there in town due to a death in our family up in a basement apartment across the street from the motel. NEVER was there EVER a car in the parking lot of this motel where we had rented an only 1 room left at the time of the booking....BUYER BEWARE and never stay here. What an absolute terrible experience.........do better!!

Check in was a breeze, even at the late hour we rolled in. The motel felt very safe and well lit. The room and bathroom were very clean and most things had been updated, except for the most important items: the bed and comforter. Both mattresses were terribly uncomfortable, with springs popping. Also, there was a yellowing duvet sandwiched between two sheets instead of encased in a duvet cover. We were only there to get a good nights sleep before hitting the trail for 4 days, so while the room was nice, the sleep was not.

Very convenient and quite affordable. Lots of noise if you stay on first floor. Have a box fan available to block out noise. Hostess allowed us to check in early which was quite helpful.

I like the room as it is quite new and comfortable for a motel. Probably retrofitted recently. Room is clean and every basic thing you need is available. TV is huge. location is convenient to walk to town only thing is it is along the main road. We were there during the lull period so it wasn’t very noisy.

They accommodated our late arrival and our inability to call while we were out hiking and had no phone service. We checked into a very clean room. That was recently remodeled and looks fresh and inviting. The beds are comfortable and we feel right at home!

Really cute motel with everything we needed for our stay. Pet Friendly. Microwave. Refrigerator. Convenient location- We could walk to everything we wanted to see/do in downtown. Staff was super friendly. I would book this place again!

We had to haul our luggage through a very small reception area up a very narrow indoor staircase. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The walking of other guests on the wooden walk outside was loud. Also we could hear the guests in the next room talking in normal conversation. Mostly it was a fine stay and met our needs. But since we stayed out of season (early October) there was hardly any places to eat, and the hours of those were somewhat random.

We very much appreciated the ability to get a first floor room. The desk clerk was very helpful and willing to change to such a room.
Facilities were very clean. The bed was a king and very comfortable. Only concern was there were no grab bars in the shower. Older folks sometimes need these. A shower can be somewhat dangerous without a bar or a chair for support.
Otherwise…. we really enjoyed the room!

Easy, quick, friendly check in. Clean room and bathroom. Good water pressure. Looked recently renovated room 112. Easy parking, great location. Only small complaint was the bed was too soft. Not a big deal for only two nights though. Would go back.

Room was small and little storage space in bathroom. Tissue only provide on request and staff stated tissue not typically put in rooms. No phone in room to call office. Cleaning staff friendly & helpful. Dog friendly however trash receptacle was not available after we cleaned up after the dog.

Very nice and clean. Bathroom is updated and clean. Headboard had outlets built in to power all your stuff. May look old school from the exterior, but nicely renovated and clean in the room.
