I knew we were in trouble when I asked for another set of towels because we only had two and there were three of us. I was informed the process is for you to bring your dirty towels down to the front desk and exchange them for clean towels…The property was noisy all night with kids running and making loud noises.

The room was clean and well appointed for the price, with a decent kitchenette. What they don't tell you is that if you want any dishes or cooking utensils, they cost extra. And the laundry facilities operate on quarters, but there's no change machine. You can get quarters from the front desk, but they only sell them by the $10 roll.

Didn’t like that there wasnt someone available at the front desk for longer hours, and when asked about housekeeping and leaving extra towels the front desk wasn’t as helpful and asked for us to go during hours to get extras. Was there for a business trip and was not always able to make it there while there was someone at the front desk.

This place surpasses all the other places i have stayed in during the last 2 years when i have had to stay at an extended stay for work reasons. They are the best.

It was clean but bare minimum on the room. It had a kitchenette but no dishes so it was pointless for us to utilize the kitchen area.

There are 3 adults staying in a 2 queen beds room. There were only 2 sets of towels, only 2 cups for water, etc. Did Hotels.com not tell them there are 3 adults? And no ice and no coffee, tea, etc.

I have started here several times now and every time it is clean, staff is beyond great and I would recommend to everyone.

No breakfast or coffee available. I brought my own but they also don’t have any cups of any kind. Just need to be prepared.

We planned a weekend and booked here. The room while a decent size....it had barely anything. A kitchenette with absolutely no dishes, towels or soap. No hand towels at all and if you want more towels you have to turn in the dirty ones. No coffee pot there is a charge for one. You have to take your trash out when you check out or you are charged. Very disappointing

Local to the area where majority of the time was spent. Otherwise the facility really didnt have great customer service or even staff on site. You are required to take out your own trash or be fined for it... just not something you as a guest would expect to be required to do yourself.

It is a terrible hotel and the receptionists were rude and disrespectful. My wife and I felt unsafe and they require $100 CASH as a security deposit, did not want to accept a Credit Card. There was a dog in the lobby area that started intimidating us as well. They still didn’t want to check us in and we had to go to a different hotel. Will never go back again.

Clean. Nice place to stay. Beds comfortable. Easily accessed from interstate and roads. Felt safe.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

I enjoyed my two week stay, cleaned and staff was very attentive to request, if we needed more towels, change of bed sheets.

The bed frames were cheap and loud. Family member moved in their bed and woke me up several times. Vice versa. There were only 2 towels. Water for the shower was still cold 1 hour after someone else showered.

Set up exactly like a prison. Rules, everywhere - amenities, none. No breakfast, no cups in the room, no coffee, no shampoo - staff unfriendly - required to provide a $100 dollar deposit for a $50 dollar room. Staff talks down to you - office closes at night - no one there? I’m 68, I have traveled all my life - I have NEVER seen anything like this place

Did not realize until arrival that basic essentials such as plates, pans etc were not included. Bed almost worn out.

The bedding wasn’t washed. There was a dark stain on the top sheet and hair all over the pillows. You’re responsible for taking your trash out or you’re charged $50. The tv didn’t work. The front desk was closed when we were going to check out.

The hotel is in a location convenient to everything I need in West Des Moines.

I had issues with the air conditioner, it was never fixed. Front desk closed at 9pm, you have to take out your own garbage, there are no tissues in the room, or curtains, or hand towels. The give you 1 towel per person. Non of this is in the info for the hotel, if it was, I would have never stayed here.

Very clean. I loved the full size fridge and set up of the room. My only issue was there were no black out curtain so the light from the well lit parking lot shown right through the blinds!

The location was ok and the room was very clean, hat we did not realize that the amenities were null. No tissues, bare minimum of towels, the room does not get cleaned, and you have to take out your own garbage. I questioned the night manager and she said it was a commuter hotel. Also there weas a horrific smell that was in the lobby and went up to our room floor. Never go there again!

Understanding that this property is less expensive than most hotels, literally nothing in the room as far as tolietries or amenities except for a couple towels and a bar of soap. Not even a coffee pot! Will never stay again

Check in was horrible. At 7:30 PM we couldnt get into lobby and fromt desk was closed. Finally the receptionist (who was running around barefoot with another guest) saw us and let us in. Still another 5min before she returned and checked us in. Got 1 card which didnt work so wasted more time just getting to our room. Facility was fairly clean but since THIS IS AN EXTENDED STAY HOTEL (wasnt aware) there was lots of dried mud in hallways from workers staying down the hall. No coffee maker in room and bed was not that comfy. Room also got hot as theres only an in-wall unit and no fans. Shower was only warm regardless of the setting. Neighbors had barking dogs until around 10pm which was a lot of fun to listen to. At check out, the desk was closed again. Had to call the phone number 3 times before someone groggily answered and told us to just leave cards there. Advice: pass on this hotel unless you need an extended stay

No usb power outlets. No pots, pans, utensils in kitchen area. No hangers. Noisy at night. Very clean!

No indication in property description that this property is for long term stays. Required $100 deposit for 1 night stay. Handout said we have to remove our own trash or $100 fine. Charge if room key not returned but staff not on site to check out so no assurance keys actually accounted for. Zero amenities. No hair dryer, coffee pot, etc. standards like a hand towel and kleenex were not provided. Thin walls and no carpet so no noise abatement. Maybe ok if aware of these limits and prepared for long term monthly stay but wouldn’t recommend for short stays. We won’t be back.

Floor dirty, phone didn’t work, nor did the TV. But worst of all the door would not lock when leaving and no one available to help.

The first room we were in the door didn’t lock and they quickly moved us to another room which was very clean and had locking door. Through the night there was a tapping in the bathroom vent that was hard to sleep with but we were thankful to have a place to stay.
