No socket in the bathroom to charge razor or toothbrush. Bar closed before 11pm

Hotel has really good facilities. They gym and pool cw steam room / sauna are really excellent and of a very high standard. Cheap to add to your staty too. The pub/grill is also well appointed with decent quality food albeit at high prices for what you get. They did run out of 3 beer options during Saturday night though and it wasn't busy. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly although breakfast staff all about 16 so a bit untrained / inexperienced. Ran out of milk and beans! Helpful on the front desk and gym though. Rooms o.k. but with few options unless you are a couple. All king size beds but comfy. Could do with a spruce up, especially the bathrooms, but nothing to complain about really. Overall I'd definitely recommend this for a family stay in Eastleigh.

The only thing that spoilt our stay was the Constant and Continuous THUMPING NOISE from the GYM and people using the Weights (incorrectly)!! The Bedroom was not ideal for a leisurely sleep on a Sunday morning!

good hotel, great facilities.

Wonderful staff, all very very friendly and keen to help. The room was on the small side however it was spotlessly clean, the bed comfy and the shower was great. There is a clear door on to the bathroom though this did not bother us. We had food and drinks in the bar/restaurant which was good quality at hotel prices.. Really enjoyed it here, and we've already booked to return!

No courtesy parking at check in - difficult to get luggage from car when old and lacking mobility. No glasses in room. No where to hang towels. Room smaller than expected from website pictures. No window

The staff were fantastic and were great at providing a great stay ... many thanks especially to the housekeeping -check in/out ... good food and beverages in the attached grill restaurant/bar.... leisure facility lovely although very low lighting in pool area

Great facilities and friendly staff.

The room is okay and bed is comfortable. Ironing board and TV and a kettle provided with two coffee mug one had lipstick mark on. No fridge, no tooth brush not even a box of tissue. Carpet full of stain. Our room had a small window but no view to anything, just a wall. Noise from next door room as you could hear them showering. Generally nice hotel and convenient location, but for £130 per night there are better alternatives. By the way if you arrive before 3:00 pm you can still check in but you pay £25 for up to two hours.

Perfectly fine hotel. Stayed a few times. No issues. Breakfast is naff though. Rest of it is fine.

Room was clean but not happy with toilet door, it was clear glass. I booked this hotel so I can use pool with daughter but unfortunately the family timings are less for kids. Customer service suggested to use the next day family timings which starts at 9am, so we tried to use that but again we had disappointing experience because the pool was busy with aqua session going on at 9am and lots of families were using small section which was open. Sona was not working. Overall it wasn't great experience

I had stayed in the hotel previously and had a pleasant experience however, this time the hotel has changed significantly. The staff were unfriendly defensive and unhelpful. This was a shame as staff were unwilling to fix major issues with the room. My room was ok on appearance however, the shower was broken and the wash basin was blocked. When I reported this online there was no action. when I reported to the duty staff they said it would be actioned immediately. That never occurred. When I asked the following day about the issue an aggressive staff member claimed they had fixed the issue when I invited them to show me they then claimed They had tried to fix it but I was in the room. However to my knowledge I did receive a single knock on the door. Instead of solving the issue the staff member decided to become challenging to my partner over weather or not the basin was blocked. Seeing there was no point in escalating the issue on site as the staff member was clearly looking for trouble I figured an honest experience review was better as a warning to future guests.

The Village at Chandlers Ford is a good Hotel but could be so much better. The restuarant/bar was very noisy at times. The menu is overpriced for the limited items on offer. The breakfast bacon has more fat than actual meat and don't even bother asking for a poached egg! I can't fault the room, it was very clean and very well soundproofed. Staff were very friendly and took the time to engage.

The room I had was a club room. The room smelt of stale food and although clean was suffering from being old. Air conditioning not working and full of dust. Toilet bowl full of brown stains and limescale. Mattress uncomfortable. Food was nothing special at all. Although I also had a club room I was going to be charged to use the business center on my arrival day, so ended up in the bar.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Verry clean hotel, swimming pool and steam room we clean, staff were very good. Room was clean with a very comfortable bed and air-conditioning. Glass door on the bathroom was not too much of a problem

I found the hotel modern and vibrant. The room was clean and tidy good air conditioning. The only thing was the see through glass door into the bathroom. The leisure facilities were good the bar and grill was nice and a ample breakfast.

The property is attractive in a modern style. The cafe is good with the facility to sit outside with your drink in the sunshine. The room was comfortable but take note, the only natural light is through a large bathroom window and glass door that separates it from the main bedroom. I found it OK but others were saying it was a bit claustrophobic. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of hangers. The air conditioning was a godsend but we had to ask a very helpful member of staff how to set it as there were no instructions in the room. The shower was great although, again, no instructions as to how to get the rainfall bit working. I'm sure the staff would have helped but as the ancillary shower was excellent, I didn't bother them. The cafe/ breakfast room was great and kept clean by the staff, who couldn't have been more polite or helpful. The quality and variety of food and drinks was very good. I would have rated this hotel excellent if there had been a few instructions to help me work the gadgets.

The place was lovely and clean and all of the staff were friendly and professional. We were not too keen on the lighting in the swimming pool, very dark. The least favourite thing was the breakfast. Bacon full of fat and swimming in grease and telling people to order a fried egg whilst you are getting your breakfast isn’t really ideal. We were eating our breakfast when the egg turned up.

Lovely as always but bathroom could do with being deep cleaned.

Very last minute booking, as had to get a flight from Southampton after our Heathrow one was cancelled. Rooms ok, fairly basic with very strange brightly coloured walls and minimal furniture - but comfy bed. Nice shower, and towels but all felt a bit utilitarian for £125 a night. Very noisy, kids running around. Bar/restaurant is like a sports pub, 6 TV’s v loud playing Olympics. Food was good, although expensive - fries were £7! Fine for an overnight stay to get to the airport, which is close, but won’t rush back.

First room had wet carpet from the AC unit, the AC unit didn’t work and the room smelt of damp. Second room was better but still smelt. Food in the Grill restaurant was average and there was a slug in the Caprese Salad. Staff not that apologetic and the “chef” just shrugged her shoulders. I’d recommend going elsewhere.

Hotel was just as advertised, room was clean, bed was comfy. Couldn’t fault it stay, will stay here next time we are in the UK

Hotel was modern with plenty of options for eating and drinking. The air con was a definite positive too

Ok hotel for one night. Should have tested the bed when I first got to the room. When I went to bed at 11.00 ish the mattress was so bowled in the middle it was a struggle to get out. When I mention to the desk in the morning no real concern was shown. Won’t come back.

Very noisy hotel. With a gym underneath you may hear weights dropping and enthusiastic people using a microphone while shouting PUNCH, KICK, COME ON GUYS ONLY TWO MORE MINUTES PUSH IT. Also the toilet/bathroom door is see through glass. This is terrible if you are in a couple and like your privacy while using the toilet (crazy thing to want right?!) I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel.

Staff were very friendly, restaurant was well staffed and the service was great. The guy that helped on check in was very friendly!

Excellent. Superb clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and attentative staff. Would very happily stay again
