Used the sofa bed. Sheets were gross. Thankfully there were more sheets in the room so I changed them myself. Not enough pillows. Overall, very loud.

Unfortunately, the quality and cleanliness of my experience did not align with the standards I have come to expect from Hilton properties.
Upon entering my room, I was startled to find a live cockroach and another dead one beneath the bathroom sink. Additionally, I noticed that the sheets were stained, and the pillows were visibly dirty. As a result, I had to request extra sheets and pillows, which took over an hour to receive. I will not be back to this hotel next time I’m in West Sac.

The room layout and furniture was fantastic. We both noticed how functional and well kept it was.
BUT, there was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom! I've NEVER seen that where the TP is just sitting on the bathroom counter. How could they not have planned for putting a roller on the wall????
We still loved the room and would stay again, but get this fixed please.

New-ish, nicely designed property with courteous staff. In the room, the floor of the kitchen area had lots of crumbs at the base of the dishwasher and cabinets, and the desk and various other surfaces appeared to not have been wiped cleaned of dust and crumbs for some time. Similarly, in the bath, the inside of the shower door needed a good scrubbing. Silverware was a few random, mismatched pieces but I imagine more would be provided upon on request. Upon reporting all this to the front desk staff, I was respectfully told my concerns would be passed on to housekeeping. Breakfast offerings had potential but a lack of staffing at the height meant empty bread trays, waffle and yogurt dispensers, oatmeal pot, etc., and guests needed to rummage through below-counter cabinets for silverware and juice glasses as displays were empty. A clean table or counter to sit at was difficult to locate, as it appears cleaning up isn’t possible until end of service hours.

There display for the thermostat was broken so I couldn't adjust the temperature, I told the person in the front desk and he gave me another room.
When I went to bed, there were long hairs on the sheets on the bottom and middle of the bed, not even on the pillow looks like some else had slept there before me and the sheets were changed.
The next day when I took a shower there was hair in the shower. It doesn't look like it was cleaned either. Not sure if the bedroom was never cleaned after the previous guest.
Also the carpet in the room was dirty and there was a huge trash bag by the elevator for seceral hours.

I was disappointed that I could not check in 20 minutes early after the 7 hour drive. Once I got in the room they were cleaning the hall rug for 1 1/2 hours. You couldn’t hear the tv through the noise. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped but unfortunately I was next to the ice machine and it sounded like a garbage disposal all night. The front desk staff was incredible, friendly and helpful. In order to get free Wi-Fi, you have to sign up with the hotel chain. I would suggest you do that before you go because then they’ll put you on the 3rd or 4th floor.

Hotels.com/ the hotel charged me twice. I paid for my booking a month in advance and as I was checking out I had to pay because my payment was “declined” even though I had paid it a month ago.

We had issues in our room which were not resolved even though we brought them to the attention of front desk staff. Mainly, The thermostat/temperature in our bedroom did not work during our stay resulting in either too hot or too cold. As we were leaving, we started the dishwater and water leaked immediately on the kitchen floor, enough that we used bathroom towels to mop it up.
We had considered staying here again next week when we fly home, as we enjoyed the extra space in the room and the breakfast was very good, but now plan to book elsewhere.

By far, not The lodging fault, but on arrival, we had to sit in the foyer for almost 2 hours because their computer system was down and they could not assign us a room. Once we were able to get a room, the key card machine was not working so we didn’t have a key to our room for 24 hours Staff was wonderful. Victor went out of his way that night that we had to sit in the lobby to make us happy. (We had a long flight and was exhausted on arrival). Really no complaints. Everything that happened was not their fault. I would stay here again

My bedroom had electric black out shade that did not work so staff couldn't do anything about it when we checked in so thy gave me a white sheet to hang up which did no good. Next day they said they would fix it. Got back to my room around 8:00pm and it wasn't fixed and front desk again said they couldn't fix it. UNACCEPTABLE and I asked to be credited one night stay as their sign says in the lobby one night free if guest had bad experience.

The carpet was not vacuumed, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, found a cherry seed on the floor, the bedding for the sofa bed had hair all over it.

Carpet was slightly dirty (walking around in socks turned the bottoms of my socks black).
At one point, my partner and I were relaxing in the room and we heard our door open... I cried out, "Hello?!" in shock, and my partner got up to see what was going on. A staff member was outside our door. She claimed she was supposed to be checking a room on the 2nd floor. We were on floor 3. She apologized, but it was... unnerving to say the least.

Easy to find and get to. Parking was ok. Check in was a mess. Says it starts at 3, but they had no rooms available. So we all started milling about. Somehow around 3:45 they started checking people in, but I never heard anyone announce this. They had 2 PCs to check people in, but only one person working them. I'm guessing they are too short staffed as the delay was blamed on housekeeping not turning over the rooms fast enough. Would also explain why only 1 person was checking us in.
The room itself is great. Has the kitchenette area and ours had the one bed. It's your standard home2suites room. We had a bit of issue with the thermostat and the bathroom door is a barn style with a large gap. So make sure whoever you go with is on very friendly terms with you.
Overall it was a good stay. I could stay here again though I'd probably look around a bit too see what else is available as this H2S seems a bit off

The staff was amazing. My room was not ready when I got in it. No shampoo, no conditioner, no lotion in the refillable bottles. Shower was filthy. Hair and shavings all over the shower walls.

Awful. I accidentally booked the wrong date because I was booking for the same night (so I thought) and didn’t protect my booking. I called one minute after I booked and the hotel manager didn’t care and wouldn’t change my date. I was just out of money despite catching my error quickly and the stay I booked being over 30 days in the future.
