Hotel feels like it may have got its 5 stars by ticking a few boxes - eg kids club, spa, gym, concierge etc. The service is not what you expect from a 5 star hotel at all.
Negatives:
We were told we got upgraded and were presented with a ‘sunset view’ which was in fact a view of the staff car park and a partial bay view.
Family of 4 - Small sofa bed, definitely not suitable for older kids over 12 yrs
They had not provided pillows for the sofa bed, so we had to ask.
Only one chair on the balcony - not suitable for a family!
Pool towel service very slow and you can’t just grab a towel… they seem to be in short supply and they have to go and get them for you weirdly.
Only one buffet restaurant on the main site catering for the masses.
The service at the hotel’s Sud beach restaurant is slow and patchy… they got drinks orders wrong several times. Expensive bill for what you get.
Design of the hotel makes it feel busy as there is only really one main area with loungers and 2 pools.
They organised horse riding for us which was not good at all - my daughter who is an experienced rider was in tears because they gave her a young horse who got out of control and almost bucked her off.
Breakfast service is sloppy when it’s busy - tables are not set properly, missing napkins and cutlery, tables are not cleared.
Orange juice is served out of just one slow pouring dispenser - creating queues.

I have enjoyed the stay with my family in this hotel. The room could have been better i was promised to get it changed several times but it never happened. Otherwise overall it was good.

One of the best hotels ive stayed at, the staff are super friendly, they are attentive. The hotel has all the luxuries, the swimming pools, thr breakfast and resturants are high quality and very reasonably priced. Check out the beach resturant Sud which does amazing food.
Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel is very good,helpful staff, has its own besch. If you need to acees shops, restaurants and other amenities its a 20min walk to tazaghout or 5mins drive

Our stay was exceptional!
The staff were friendly, and the room was beyond comfortable and clean, thanks to the housekeeper Latifa.
Starting with the Check-in, and ending with the checkout the staff was very friendly and courteous through our stay. We’ve dined at main restaurant, for both breakfast and dinner, we tried the pool side dining with our family and we ordered room service three times, and the third time they made my son his favourite pizza passed the pizza menu hours, so thank you.
Thanks for the GM also for stopping by and making sure our stay was enjoyable.

The food was discusting cannot even eat at the restaurants. Litterally discusting the food on the street taste better. No service at the pool , the Ocean view rooms are partial ocean view not a full ocean view.But the rooms are OK. We had 2 extra days in Taghazout but we switched hotel because the food and the service was too bad.

Overall good but service pretty mixed at times. Particular issues at Sud 17 restaurants which was not well run. Once hotel occupancy increased, space around the pool was very limited. The service quality dropped as the hotel occupancy increased.

The customer service at this hotel was EXCELLENT. Our partial ocean view room was spacious, very comfortable, and very clean. The terrace was lovely. The pools and the beach were beautiful. We enjoyed very tasty and varied options at the breakfast and dinner buffets. A special “shout out” to hostess Wiam who was an entirely charming ambassador to the hotel! : )

Booked the highest category room in the resort. Private pool is exposed to everyone, not discreet. Food was average. All inclusive riu is better value for money.

Well positioned on the beach front. The front desk team listened to our requests and acted on them promptly. Enjoyed our room (one bed terrace suite) which had an amazing view across the beach and the beautiful sunsets!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt regency in Taghazout. My stay was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel’s elegant design, combined with its top-notch amenities, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The attentive and courteous staff catered to my every need, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible especialy Yassine was very kind. I can’t wait to return on my next visit. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property with inattentive service and good but not outstanding food. It took nearly 3 hours to get into our room, which had a broken sliding door and a sink that overflowed.

Highlights were the service and friendliness of the staff, especially the fantastic Animation Team (Eva, Amin & Sulaiman) who led sunset yoga, spin and running. The hotel is a great place to relax and have some activities at your own pace. Restaurant staff at breakfast and housekeeping also excellent.
Rooms are great, large and nice design.
Location is beautiful on the beach, not far to walk to Taghazout for a local experience.
Everything was great, until we came to leave and we had an unhappy interaction with the management team which really upset us. Hopefully a one off, but more proper support at check out would have prevented this.

For a small resort, it was quite nice. The pool and grounds were well laid out. It was difficult to find a spot at the pool. Too many people lay things out early and spots filled up. Room was spacious. We did have small ants at our sliding glass door on first floor that made their way into the room. Decor of the room was inviting, and up to date. They seemed very short staffed in during the busiest times at breakfast and dinner during buffets. Not enough wait staff when ordering drinks or needing assistance.
