Not only is the hotel relatively new and clean, the real five-stars are the staff. From Jamal at check-in to the breakfast coordinators and housekeeping staff, the welcome is genuine. It's been a long time since I've experienced a stay away from home worth writing about, but the people definitely shined at the downtown Hampton Inn and Suites. Thank you for investing in terrific people.

Other than the 15 dollars a day parking because hotel doesn't have parking lot it was a great stay.

The scenery and property was very nice. Bathroom could have been cleaned, new toilet paper stocked, shower cleaned, and trash emptied.

A very nice place to stay. Located in downtown Huntsville close to restaurants, parks, and other points of interest. Very friendly staff. Great complimentary breakfast. Beds a bit too firm, but that seems to be the standard in motels/hotels these days. Pet friendly with a fee. Parking $15 a night. We would stay there again.

Our son lives in Huntsville not two blocks from the Hampton Inn; the hotel is a very convenient place to stay when we visit him. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely appointed. Their complimentary breakfasts are above and beyond most offerings at hotels or motels. The location of the hotel in downtown Huntsville offers a very pleasant atmosphere, close to some excellent restaurants in the summer there are concerts in a nearby park. We enjoyed the music. It is pet friendly with a fee - but that fee is not as much as many hotels charge. The clerk even gave our dog a biscuit. She began to expect them as we entered and left the building. Great people. My only complaint is with the beds. I am a disabled veterans and firm mattresses can aggravate some old injuries. The mattresses here are extremely firm - even hard. A lot of folks like that - so... However, the mattresses don't outweigh the positive aspects of the hotel in my opinion. My wife and I will probably bring a pad or something to help us on our next trip - we need it for most hotels/motels these days. Be aware there is a $15 dollar a night parking fee above the cost of the room. We expect to be visiting Huntsville many times in the future and will probably stay here again.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was great because we could just walk across the road to a concert and didn’t have to fight the traffic

The convenience to the Von Bron center was great because it was across the street from the hotel. The rooms were clean. Everything worked. Check-in was quick & parking was convenient. Made for a great girls weekend.

This property is so convenient for shows at the Von Braun Center. The venue is literally across the street. The hotel parking is in the Arena's deck, but we found parking to be easy and convenient. The rooms were clean and the whole place smelled and looked brand new. Complimentary breakfast was good, and they have a nice sundries area for snacks. Overall great place to stay.

It was so clean and honestly amazing! The bar was a plus of course!

I was really happy with my stay. Check in was very easy. The woman at the front desk and the bartender were very friendly. The room was clean and seemed newly renovated. The bathroom had nice amenities, including sulfate free and paraben free shampoo and conditioner! The room was also really spacious! The A/C was rather loud, and had a hard time keeping the room cold. I like my room at 68 degrees usually. Probably because it had been a hot day and the room was so big. That was really my only complaint.

Parking is not good if Von Braun has an event!

Everything was great! Friendly staff, clean hotel. Very close to everything. I will stay again if I am back in Huntsville.

When I got there, the Hilton System was down nationally. Since I booked on a 3rd party site, Expedia, I couldn’t see my reservation on the Hilton Honors site. People who reserved at Hilton could see their Room # and were given rooms. It was frustrating after a long day of work and then driving…and I was hungry. Then I booked at the Marriott AC which was much more expensive, but lovely. The manager at the Hilton Hampton promised me to cancel the reservation so I would not be charged. I wish I had a confirmation from them or from you, Expedia, that I am not being charged for the stay at the Hilton Hampton!!! Can you do that????

Small room, breakfast was poor quality we Huntsville.. Surprise charge of $15/parking that wasn’t mentioned when room booked. Was not up to par for Hampton Inn. Would not stay here again. Room was cleaned only twice in 5 days. Was convenient to downtown

Hotel was very clean and staff was very nice. Rooms were very spacious. Parking a breeze in attached parking garage. Right across the street from the Von Braun Center. One of the best properties I have stayed at recently.

We stayed overnight for a concert at Propst Arena. Easy walk after concert and hotel seemed very secure since you needed your room key to enter and use the elevator. Staff was great, even though they were pretty busy. We were missing pillows for the pull-out couch, but we requested from the front desk while we had a few drinks at the hotel bar. They were in our room when we returned. I will say the pull-out couch does not appear to be a queen as advertised. More like a full.

It was a nice hotel with clean rooms. Also it was within walking distance to my destination.

Great location, only problem is toilet don't flush good.
