Everything was great, but the shower could have been cleaned better. There were other people's hair in it. There could have been more of a selection for breakfast.

The stay was good, i liked the size of the room and the amenities it had. I only had two complaints. The compressor in the Heating/AC unit was very loud and rattling which made sleeping hard and the shower did not have great water pressure. My RV shower has better. I was in room 719.

The staff was nice. The free breakfast was decent. I was turned off by the cleanliness, or lack thereof. There were, what looked like, blood stains on the sheets.

Great staff. A little slow on restocking 'snacks' ice cream, etc, as no store nearby. Food 'so so', but it WAS 'food'. Couldn't fig out how to get potatoes out from pan when front part was empty...doesn't 'slide out'?? A package was sent there for me which was late so I need it forwarded to my home now as they sd would arrive thurs...lucky if came today.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in Richmond. It is right next to the mall (short pump). The rooms are big and clean and the staff is amazing. They also have a pool and a workout area. Plus breakfast not to mention checkout is a noon.

We stayed for only one night, so we didn’t use the cooking facilities. We did appreciate the service, staff and facilities, including the pool.
The downside was being on the 4th floor, we had to wait a long time for hot water to arrive in the shower. While there was a table, there was only 1 chair.
The hotel was great for the price!

We traveled with a toddler. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I love the location because it was close to everything we needed during our stay. We were traveling to Kings Dominion which was a 31 minute drive but we wanted to stay in an area that had things for us to do. Short Pump,VA in general is really nice and we would stay here again.

The hotel seems to be relatively new, so everything was in very good condition and clean. It’s in a great, safe location. The staff was helpful and courteous. The only thing we did not care for was breakfast. Would have liked to see a few more options. Overall, our stay was great.

Clean very spacious rooms. Nothing out of this world but comfortable. Couch and bedspread were extremely itchy. Bfast ok, coffee bad, real bad both in room and downstairs. Very pricey at $280 per night. Ice machine nice. Overall, nice place to stay.

When we checked in we waited for several minutes until someone came up to the front desk to check us in.
I believe the person was in the back eating and was chewing when they finally made it up to the desk.
Our daughter dropped her phone into the elevator pit and we immediately reported it to the front desk. We followed up several times but got little information to what the next steps were. I believe it landed that they were trying to get maintenance in to open the door.
The next morning we went down first thing at 7:30 to the front desk see when the status was or the next steps. We were told they were unsure. We returned back at 11:30 and still no progress was made.
While the phone dropping into the pit is totally on our daughter- the lack of communication from day 1 to day 2 is unacceptable and the fact that the people didn’t know anything about it is more alarming.
Jazmine was helpful but as a whole communication was lacking as a whole.

My family had a great time. Kids spent a ton of time in the pool and had a blast. Breakfast was good. The room was very spacious and it was really nice to have the pull out sofa bed. Big fridge was great too. Check-out time is noon and it was great to have that extra hour-- we're used to an earlier checkout time. The only issue we had was that one of the queens did not have a top sheet, but we called the front desk and they brought us a sheet immediately. We'd definitely stay here again.

This property was very clean, had TONS of storage, and the kitchen was great! We will try to stay at Home2 Suites whenever we can!

We showed up early, computers were "down", so they could not check to see if we could check in early. Check in was at 3pm, we sat in the lobby for over an hour before we got into our room. The cleaning ppl were behind they said. Got to room, we had no towels. So we called down to get some and extra pillows. Pillows are very thin. Garbage was still in bathroom and suite area. All night long was constant thumping from upstairs. We were there for our son's lacrosse tournament that weekend. We were outside in the sun all day, and we wanted to relax. Wife went downstairs to talk with someone, after we tried calling down, and said no one was at the desk. Waited close to ten minutes. Came back up mad. Of course. It's a nice hotel. But a few things need to change.

Perfect stay! The rooms were clean and quiet, the shopping and dining were walking distance, and the overall experience was wonderful. Excellent staff, hot breakfast. Overall we're very satisfied and would come here again! Thank you!

The hotel is new - only two years old. It’s pet friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in a double queen was roomy enough to comfortably accommodate 3 adults, 2 children and 2 pugs. The third adult being my 19 year old daughter. Simple breakfast with make your own waffle maker was available. Loved the full sized fridge, dishwasher and plates. Plenty of space to store luggage. We will stay at a home2suites again for sure. Perfect for families. And lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

The stay was great although it was only one night my mother and my daughter that was sharing in one bed woke up with bug bites in their ears and legs. I suggest to get the beds check.

The staff was friendly. Housekeeping has to be requested and the room had no safe box.
The indoor pool's water appeared murky and dirty. For half of our stay, there was no milk available for breakfast.
The gym machines were in good shape, and small towels were available, yet the water cooler had no cups.

We reserved a room with two queen beds, and the room description said a stovetop would be in the room. When we checked in, they gave us a room with a king bed and no stovetop.
